28A/N: It's what we've been waiting for. The Epilogue XD Yes, this is indeed the end and yes it is very short. sniff sniff Our little story has grown up :D Anyways, we suggest that you read the sequel. It's so much more better than this story, with longer chapters, an actual sort of plot and they're in high school! So many more laughs :D Anyways, without further ado, here's the Epilogue.
"La la la! What a beautiful day!" May sang as she and her best friend Monica walked down the street to Monica's house.
It had had been five years since they met and still, May was living in Monica's closet. Everything was going perfectly.
"We're in grade seven now," Monica groaned, "don't you think you should grow up?"
"Why?"
"You idiot…"
All of a sudden, May stopped in her tracks and started ahead, her eyes wide with shock and her mouth hanging open.
"What's the delay? Lost your head?" Monica asked and she backed up to meet her friend.
Monica turned her head to see what May was looking at. Apparently, it was two middle aged people, a man and a woman who seemed to be a couple. They were looking intently at a poster and pointing at May.
"Monica," May gulped, "why are they pointing at me?"
"You idiot. They're probably pointing at something else. Why would they point at-Oh my god! That's my aunt and uncle! Hide me!"
Monica jumped into a near by bush, dragging May in with her. The girls were camouflaged completely.
"Why do you want to hide?" May whispered.
"They shower me with stuff."
"Aren't freebies good?"
"I'd rather pay for hugs and kisses, thank you very much."
The two girls quieted down as the couple walked by, still looking at the poster. They were talking very quickly.
"I can't believe our almost daughter ran away from the orphanage! May seemed like such a nice and innocent girl!" Monica's aunt said sadly.
"Don't worry, dear. We'll find her," Monica's uncle promised her, "She's been seen in Oxford. We even saw a girl like her a few seconds ago. She'll be part of the family soon. Let's just go to your sister's house and shower their daughter with love for now!"
Both May and Monica gasped in horror. Monica was more afraid of being smothered to death by love whereas May did not want to leave her happy home in Monica's closet.
"They've found me…" May shrieked as soon as the couple were gone.
"You're my cousin…"
"I have to hide…"
"You're my cousin…"
"I don't want to go back!"
"You're my cousin…"
"Stop saying that!"
"BUT YOU'RE MY COUSIN!"
"What should we do?" May was beginning to panic.
"Don't worry. Let's just get to my house before they do and you can hide in the closet. They won't think of looking there."
The girls ran as fast as possible into Monica's house. Unfortunately, all the adults were home. They ended up getting cornered at the door by Monica's mother, father, aunt, and uncle.
"Monica…who is that?" Her mother questioned, anxiously.
"Um…" Monica's mind raced of excuses.
"May!" Monica's aunt gasped.
"We found you!" her uncle chimed in.
Her relatives hugged May tightly.
"Monica, you knew about that girl? Why were you hiding this from us?" Monica's mother shrieked.
Monica began to stutter. There wasn't anything to say that would not sound crazy.
"Care to explain, Monica?" Monica's father asked, sharply.
There was no way to get out of this. Monica decided it was best she went by telling the truth.
"Mom, dad," Monica began, "please don't freak out when I tell you."
The parents nodded and Monica gulped.
"May's been hiding in my closet…since second grade…"
