Bones crack, shatter
Pierce my soft flesh
As I am dashed against a wall
My body lands with a sickening thud
My heart is pounding
My blood is rushing in my ears and
Pouring out of my wounds and
There are so many
But I struggle to rise
Gasping, I collapse
And I can hear my broken heart
Pumping away
Slower, slower
Blood clumps my lashes
And I look up and see
Through the fuzzy edges of my vision
My tormentor
His eyes are wild, inhuman
As if possessed by some demon
He hits me again, blow after blow
Gloats at my pain
But his taunts are lost on me
For all I hear is my heart
Thumping ever
Slower
Until
It
Stops.
