XOXO-Emily

!Alone!

I've never felt more alone. Despite the fact that I have several friends surrounding me I felt lonely. I mean yeah, I've been alone before, but that was like everyone was away at camp while I was stuck at home all summer. All I wanted to do was curl up and cry…forever. And it was all because of Carson. Carson was my best friend, who by the way, I'm madly in-love with. And he didn't know it. It all started this morning when I saw him kissing Debbie Kraft. It has been eating me up all day, because: 1. He was my best friend and didn't bother to tell me he was going out with someone, and 2. because I'm in-love with him. I've been avoiding him all day and it's been working pretty well until now.

A few minutes ago I walked into the lunchroom. I didn't see Carson and Debbie so I figured they were off sucking face in an abandoned class room. I hurried quickly through the line and sat at the table with my other friends. We talked until, "Hey guys" I turned my head and saw Carson and Debbie. "You all know Debbie" A round of 'Heys' came from around the table except from me. The loneliness was is building up inside me and I can't stand it. I suddenly get up and run out of the lunchroom whipping away some stray tears. I ran as far as my feet could take me which was to the geek squads aka the Science Club's garden. I decided to sit under the big oak tree. I hugged my knees and silently cried into my torn jeans.

"Jello." Only one person called me that and it was Carson. "Jello, come on tell me what's wrong." I looked up and looked angrily into his eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked sarcastically "What's wrong is that you're in-love with Debbie 'frekin' Kraft and not me!" I screamed at him. He looked at me stunned. "I don't love Debbie." I grinned "You don't?" He shook his head. "No because then I couldn't be in love with you." My jaw dropped. "Wh-what?" Then he leaned over, cupped my face then kissed me. A sweet beautiful wonderful gentle kiss. "What about Debbie?" I asked after the kiss. "What about her?" he asked back. "She's still your girlfriend you know." He laughed as I looked at him very confused. "But, I saw ya'll kissing this morning, and then at lunch you both were together." I stated still confused. "She kissed me, I didn't kiss her. She thought I was "coming on to her". As for lunch, we talked it out and decided on being friends, she wanted to sit with us." I smiled a happy smile, as I squealed with delight and hugged him tightly. I looked into his crystal clear blue eyes and he looked into my matching ones and our lips met in a kiss.

We stayed in an embrace. "I love you, Carson" he hugged me. "I love you, El'." He walked hand-in-hand on the way to the lunch room. When we arrived at our table everyone looked over. They saw us holding hands. "I told you they would end up together." A guy said. The all laughed. We sat down next to each other. "Ya'll make a really cute couple." Debbie said.

"Thanks" I replied. The bell rang. We quickly got out. Carson said good-bye and head for the locker rooms. While I headed towards science class. "Is he a good kisser?" Debbie, who was fell in step asked. "You should know." I told her. She turned red and started to walk faster. I did also. I tapped her shoulder. "I was kidding." She brightly smiled. "Sorry. Friends?" I asked. "Friends" she replied. We both walked together talking about gossip all the way to science. I started thinking as I sat down at a table, that I was no longer alone. I had an awesome boyfriend who loved me, a new best friend and tons more friends. What more could a girl ask for? Nothing…
