Episode 1: Read This First!
A handsome god, much like Brad Pitt
Will come down from the sky
He'll give a girl a Review Love kit
And tell her "give it a try."
She'll find a chosen one, he said
Who'll help her on her way
There will be obstacles ahead
And evil they must slay.
But many sidekicks they will find
To battle 'gainst the Flames
Review Love then will be divined
This prophesy proclaims.
Against the evil one they'll fight
And somehow be on top.
Then FP will see the light
Review Love'll spread, unstopped.
Frac hurried down the streets of Review Revolution, her recently obtained Review Love kit in her hands. She was planning on setting up a special shop called The Review Game that would be solely dedicated to fostering the growth of Review Love skills. Review Love was the strongest magic in the land of Fictionpress, and for those who had mastered it, it was a blessing. Of course, there is an evil counterpart to all that is good. In the case of Review Love, its evil counterpart was the dreaded Flame. The two sides had been in constant warfare for ages, and all residents of the land of Fictionpress eventually had to choose one side or the other.
Anyway, back to Frac. She had had a dream in which a drop dead gorgeous guy (who looked much like a younger version of Brad Pitt) came to her and told her to promote the powers of Review Love. He'd given her a small box that had a guide to mastering Review Love and told her exactly what she had to do. He told her that if she ever needed his help, all she needed to do was call his name. What was his name? Reggy.
Frac reached the empty building in which she hoped to establish The Review Game. Fishing in her jeans pocket, she pulled out a small key and opened the door.
The place was bare, but Frac felt she could easily work with it. Old and crumbling concrete covered the floors, and the paint on the walls was chipped and peeling. Frac brought the kit inside and began to work. She hoped someone would come in soon. Suddenly, she felt the urge to change her outfit. Of course, she always brought spare ones along. She began stripping right then and there.
Lucky for her, someone was passing by at that exact moment. Someone who was bored and looking for something to do.
There was a knock at the door. Frac turned around, half naked, to see who was coming to visit.
"Hi. Um… I saw you're opening up a new store. Do you need help?" A girl of about sixteen or seventeen stood in the doorway. "…AGH! I didn't realize you were… uh… changing! I'm sorry…!" Frac straightened up and walked over, pulling her pants on to finish off her change.
"It's fine – I don't mind if people see me. Anyway, yes, I would love help," she said with a shrug. "I'm setting up The Review Game, a place where local residents can come and train themselves in Review Love."
"Wow, that's pretty cool," the girl answered. "We could always use something like that around here. Good users of Review Love are hard to find." She shrugged.
"Anyway, feel free to help out," Frac answered. "So far, it's only me. Oh, what's your name, by the way?"
"Imalefty, but you can call me Lefty," Lefty said with a smile. "Yours?"
"Well, I'm Fractured Illusion, but people call me Frac, Phil, Frail, Fill, mommy, hey you, and that weirdo person," Frac said. "So uh… just take your pick."
"Hahaha, Frac it is," Lefty said. She would have stuck an emote at the end, but she was talking at the time, not typing.
So the newly formed pair got to work. Many people came and went, honing their review love skills, and our two heroines soon became rather skilled at using review love. The Review Game grew and prospered for several months. It was a happy time.
But… of course, all good things must come to an end. Frac and Lefty were sitting in The Review Game when suddenly there was a giant explosion. Frac and Lefty ran outside.
The city hall was in Flames. People were screaming as they ran from the burning buildings. Lefty ran over to one of the fleeing people.
"Excuse me… what just happened?" she yelled.
"Ygger has attacked Review Revolution! No one can find the mayor… we're afraid she was killed in the blast!" he answered. "Everyone has to get out… NOW!" And he continued running.
Lefty walked back to Frac, who was still standing on the sidewalk looking up at the clouds of smoke and dancing Flames.
"Looks like we have to get out of here. Someone named Ygger has attacked the Review Revolution," Lefty said.
"Ygger? Isn't that just 'Reggy' spelled backward?"
"Who's Reggy?"
"He's the god of Review Love! He was the one who gave me the Review Love guide and told me to start The Review Game," Frac said.
"In any case, we have to get out of here," Lefty said. "Let's go."
Just then, two guys approached them.
"Are you two leaving?" the first asked. He was carrying a computer. "Oh, you guys are the leaders of The Review Game! I loved that place."
"Yeah," Lefty answered. "We're going to set up shop somewhere else."
"Okay, we'll follow you two lovely ladies," the other guy said with a smile. Frac and Lefty stared at him.
"Are you actually hittingon us?" Frac asked incredulously. "The city is burning down, we have to escape, and you're hitting on us!"
"What can I say? I can't resist," the guy answered. The smile was still lingering on his face.
"Let's go, Lefty," Frac said, turning on her heel and ignoring him completely. The two girls gathered the Review Love kit and began the long march out of Review Revolution.
Actually, the trek wasn't very long at all. Turns out, Review Revolution was in the Fiction Forum region of the land of Fictionpress, and the General Forum region was right next to it. So the journey didn't take long.
Frac and Lefty (along with their male followers) came upon an empty plot of land.
"How's this?" Frac asked.
"This is great," Lefty replied. "I think this will do nicely."
Frac took in a breath…
"REGGYYYYY!" she yelled to the sky.
At first, nothing happened. Then, there was a bright light.
Lefty and their two male companions waited with bated breath. The light was so blinding, they couldn't see anything. So they kept waiting.
Suddenly, a sound from the distance. It was a male's voice.
"Ffffffrrrrrraaaaaccc!"
The light began to dim. And when it was finally dim enough for Lefty and the two guys to see… it revealed…
Well, what it revealed was a scene that wasn't quite appropriate for a T rated fic. Let's just say it had something to do with Frac and Reggy, the god of Review Love who looked like a younger version of Brad Pitt. Let's also say that Lefty turned bright red and turned around, the guy with the computer looked up at the sky and cleared his throat, and the other guy watched with a grin on his face.
Ahem.
Anyway, when Frac and Reggy were… um… finished… Reggy told them what they had to do.
"I'll start you off, but you'll take it from there," he said in his deep, amazingly seductive voice that could turn even straight men into gay ones. And with that, he waved his hand and a few small buildings appeared. "Spread the Review Love, my sweet." He gave Frac a kiss on her forehead.
Frac smiled and waved him off. In another flash of light, he was gone.
And that, my dear readers, is how The Review Game was born.
Voila! The Review Game fanfiction is born! :D This is to fulfill the deal between Fractured Illusion and I during the Fight for the Freebie. Please don't take this writing too seriously... since I definitely didn't take it all that seriously. XD So while concrit on writing style is always welcomed, I would like to specifically ask for reactions to content rather than spelling/grammar/style. Thank you! :D
