I've always admired you

envied you

enjoyed your presence

and your reactions to me

your laughter

your infectious joy

your loving heart

your very soul calls out to mine

you complete me

fulfill me

do you see me as more then a rival

could you see me as a friend

or more?

I want to spend my life with you

laughing with you

crying with you

loving with you

when you are beside me

the world seems to be a bit less

cruel

arrogant

selfish

and lonely

your shoulder length hair

your eyes, as black as my hair

your face

oh god your face

you must be an angel

fallen from heaven

to be my salvation

but fate, our cruel mistress

has kept us apart

it is not to be you and I

forgive me and goodbye
