romantic tales of a love story lost long ago to time.
"We're all just awaiting our last dance" you whispered,
and like a fool, I readily drank your fabrications.
A love founded on an ocean of soul-shattering tears,
it can meet with only one fate in the end;
yet, as we continue on with the charade,
we can dance only to the rhythm of our heartbeats.
