CHAPTER ONE
The young woman shivered in the early morning chill, she looked no older than a seventeen year old yet here she lay naked next to one she loathed. It wasn't what you may think; An'ya still retained her virtue even though it may seem pointless. Its just that An'ya didn't want to loose herself to swine even though their hands touch her greedily before meeting her poisons making them fall unconscious. What they did to her had nothing to do with love.
An'ya slipped up before pressing her small feet on the cold stone floor, the chill eating at her bareness. It was teasing her for her clothes lay discarded a few feet away. Her eyes shut before she stood up and took careful steps toward them least her poison's effect would wear off, An'ya didn't have enough with her to stop him from raping her this time.
In a quick fluid movement she picked up the light blue corseted gown. It was a pretty thing; something that she owned despite the fact that she was a slave. It marked her of her 'courtly' duty among other things. There was a sad look in her eyes as she pulled it on where it accented her body perfectly. An'ya was a rare beauty, more so than any other. She was envied and hated by other women for it. Her beauty was a curse. Men wanted her and she didn't want them.
By now she had toward the large wooden door, behind her was a red-canopied bed that held a high ranking noble. He had lusted after her for a while now before finally forcing her to him, he was an ugly man with blubbers of fat hanging from him. She didn't spare him another look as she slipped out of the room as quietly as she could.
An'ya walked down the hallways with her fluid grace hoping not to catch anyone's attention seeing that she had used her last bit of poison on that slobbering fool. But luck would never be on her side as she heard somebody else's footsteps and to her discomfort they were heading her way. Oh joy, oh shit.
She spotted the man out of the corner of her eye and she was in luck, it was the prince himself. The man lusted after her like so many others, though he was also a bit insane. The prince had hallucinations of people gone past, people whom he claimed to be gods and that he was once among them. Soon after he turned his eyes on her though he had yet to touch her.
It was frowned upon, though it didn't mean that it was prevented, that one such as him would step down so lowly in ranks for one such as her. But An'ya was a beautiful young girl and it could hardly be blamed.
His name was Hiryuu and when he spotted her he stopped mumbling some incoherent words and smirked knowingly. It was like he saw right through her.
"Hello my dear slave," he emphasized on the last word to let it sink into her head that he could do whatever he wanted. This was the first, believe it or not, that she was alone with him without any risk of being interrupted. Shit, shit, shit...
By now An'ya's body was frozen stiff, kind of as if she was surrounded by ice with no hope of escape. She put on a small smile and curtsied low to honor his rank. This way made it easier anyways, it'd be harder to see through her and the fact that despite her reputation she was still a virgin. Hard to believe when you're supposed to be the court's whore. It was a hopeless thing that her poisons and concoctions or whatever you called them only delayed. It was inevitable that one day they wouldn't work and then all that she had worked so hard to keep would be lost.
She pulled herself up; multi-colored eyes glued to the ground, and began to greet him. "Good morning your majes-" An'ya was cut off, not having time to react as she felt hands pinning her wrists together. Her head shot up just in time to be slammed against the wall. "Wh-?" She tried again but he began first, his face less than inch away from hers.
Hiryuu easily moved his hand upwards to pin her hands against the wall above her head while his other hand found its way on to her bared shoulder. His touch wasn't one of comradeship for his intentions gleamed in his eyes.
"Oh how long I've been waiting for this," he murmured into her ear, nibbling on it. "You're a beautiful girl you know that?" His voice was low, husky even as his mouth lowered to her chin and then to her neck. An'ya was shaking slightly in her discomfort; she had no way of protecting herself. She didn't have any more poison…
"But oh no," he continued as he lifted his head so that their eyes would meet. "There's something else about you, it drives me even deeper into insanity than I've ever known. Yes your beautiful but that's not what calls me so. I believe we met before this place, before prince and slave." He lifted his head, never moving the hand that enclosed her wrists, and stared into her purple miss-colored eyes. "You remind me of night."
An'ya hardly heard anything he said as the growing pain surrounding her pinned wrists for his grip kept tightening to cut off the circulation. She tried to look away, she really did, but she felt herself trapped in his deadly, lust-filled gaze. She should of realized sooner that it was inevitable for him to corner her and the worst part was that he could do anything he wanted and would get away with it easily enough.
"Please…" she said quietly as her body shook slightly even though his grip on her shoulder only tightened as it started to slide down her arm pushing at her blue clothing. In a will that was solely her own she closed her eyes tight for it was the only thing permitted to her.
Hiryuu blinked momentarily as he registered her scrunched closed eyes. Why was that the only defiance? His hands loosened before he dropped her wrists, his other hand didn't necessarily leave her shoulder or where it stopped on the upper half of her arm. He sighed as if in defeat before speaking lightly, "Look at me." His voice was commanding her to, becoming more persistent when she hesitated.
When An'ya willingly opened them she saw that the bits of insanity and somewhat lust had began fading away. "Not like this," he shrugged lightly as he pulled away. "I'll get you yet my night beauty," he paused as if pained to say more, "Lets make a deal, a bet if you must."
An'ya finally met his eyes with her purple ones, even though the right purple eye was so light that it bordered white, "A bet?" She wasn't exactly believing of anything he'd say especially with his hand seeming like it didn't have to move unless he wanted it too, well then again that was a truth. Her body had stopped shaking where it didn't move in the slightest other than her beating heart.
Amusement flickered in his eyes, "Simple. You'll come to me in the night of the full moon where you'll become mine." An'ya wanted to say something, anything for this didn't seem like it was much better. She'd minds as well give it all up now. "One single night love, with the full of the moon behind us. Lovely isn't it?" He paused momentarily as he thought through the details of what he wanted and what he never exactly did intend to keep. "Until then you won't have to, how do you say…serve another damn soul in this castle. It's a vacation in which I'll convince you to come to me earlier than planned. If I can't do that much then after that night you are…" His voice became strained for he did not want to say this even if she had no choice in the end anyways. "Free to go, no strings attached." His voice became sincere as he awaited her response. He'd have her no matter what; he knew rituals in which a night was all that it took.
An'ya began to shake and it was not 'slight' rather it was easily spotted giving Hiryuu even more amusement over the whole matter. It didn't matter if she accepted the terms or no, he won no matter what. But Hiryuu highly doubted she'd think it all through too soon and even if she did he did not care.
"None," she whispered, regaining some control over her composure. This was unreal, a dream. It had to be for this was unheard of, a prince offering a slave such as herself an escape of freedom. But of what cost? She'd most definitely lose her virtue for the poisons wouldn't even make it inside the room if he meant what he said. But she'd be free and never expected to serve again. That was a meager heaven that she'd fight for. Even if freedom meant living in the ruins of some misbegotten village that just happened to still have its inhabitants living and miserable. "Nobody?"
The young prince nodded to her question, "Nobody but me." He waited for her answer, patiently, for it was all that he could manage at this moment in time. She looked so fragile in the early morning; it really did turn him on. Besides the voices tended to recede temporarily when he was around her, that in itself was reason enough.
The servant girl closed her eyes thinking it through, she did hate herself for this gesture, she really did, but she found herself nodding anyways with her eyes gently shut.
At this moment in time An'ya truly did look irresistible and Hiryuu found that he couldn't exactly restrain himself. "Darling," he cooed in that voice of his as he leaned forward to the point that he was just a small breath away. "I want some down payment," and before An'ya could react he was up against her. Both his hands were on either of her shoulders pressing down hard as his lips connected with hers. He explored, any awkwardness was on An'ya's side.
She couldn't break away for she was pressed against the wall with her eyes wide open, hands against the wall behind her moments before his own hands slipped down her arms against the soft cloth. It seemed like a long time before he did break the kiss and smirk that knowing way. For a moment in time his eyes flashed the deepest black that she had ever seen, reminding her of the deepest depths of the abyss.
She didn't even attempt at saying anything as he pulled away, amusement everywhere on his face the insanity the rippled beneath the surface not apparent at this moment in time. He seemed satisfied as he spoke one more time, "Not enough passion, fix that." Hiryuu was being a bit arrogant as he turned away from her and strode down the hallways as if nothing had transpired.
