My mind speaks

I writhe in its calling

Louder and louder

Harder the beating

My heart speaks louder

I fight to tame the beast

It screams, it claws,

My breathing life it feasts.

I search for peace

Solitude in barrenness

To keep away

Confessions of less

And stare I must

To an unknown path

A blossom fallen

Under Nature's wrath.

My mind says to its will

I shall submit to

And yet emotions un-yield,

Conflicting and yet to woo.

A swirl of uncertainty

It hinders the senses

To make out of darkness

Any light of conscience

Bring back asymmetry

Bring back my reason

To bring to compromise

Both wisdom and emotion.
