"Yeah right. Where could you be going? The circus? Or maybe you've finally admitted that you want to be one of us and you're going to the salon to get your hair dyed blonde?" damn it, I hate running into the know-it-all of the school, Janie Thomson. So what if I'm Goth? It doesn't mean I'm truly a freak. God, this girl has a serious death wish. I really want to rip that little prissy smirk off her face, but I'll just get into more trouble so out comes the ipod.
"If you were dead or still alive, I don't care! I don't care!" See? Such a perfect song for this situation. Well time to get to English.
"Oh Miss. Joseph, did you finally decide my English class was worth your time?" Evil, evil teacher. Sure, I don't show up most of the time, but it's not That big of a deal, right?
"Well I was going to torture innocent little kids, but after I set their playground on fire I think they know to avoid me." The teacher gulped and sat back down in her chair, glaring at me but not daring to actually do anything.
"Nice to know…we would like to get started with class so please, Miss. Joseph, take your seat. There may be some cobwebs on it though." I love messing around with these teachers. They all think I'm going to eat them alive.
"First of all, my name's Sarah or you could call me "Goddess of the Underworld" if you ever find a sense of humor, and secondly I love my cobwebs." I smiled sweetly and sat down.
The rest of the class consisted of mindless droning about books until the end of the class.
"Miss. Joseph (guess she wasn't listening before) I would like to talk to you for a moment. The rest of you are dismissed, have a nice day." There were a few girly laughs and whispers heard but everyone left in a matter of minutes.
"Would you like my assistance with something?" I might as well act sweet and kind.
"I know you just love my English class and I thought you'd be the perfect person for the next play we're doing. It's Romeo and Juliet. You will be Juliet and Alexander Sanders will be Romeo. Maybe it will inspire the both of you to behave and be more civilized."
"…" I blinked. This is the teacher who's supposedly afraid of me. She's not supposed to have the guts to be near me, let alone punish me.
"Yes, I know what you're thinking. I may be afraid of you at times, but you are my student. If I feel that you deserve to be punished, I should be able to punish you! You're not going to be able to scare your way out of this one, Miss. Joseph!"
"You can't do this to me! I don't even show up for half of the classes! I don't even know Alexander Sanders. What if he's one of the guys on the football team?! I'll kill myself before practicing a romantic play with one of those airheads!" Okay…so I may be a bit overdramatic too.
"Oh trust me; somehow I know you two will have quite an experience with this play. You are dismissed. Oh, and if you don't show up for class I'll lower your grade by 20."
I quickly ran out of the room before she could tell me I'm reading Cat in the Hat to sick children in the hospital over the weekend.
…not that I have a problem with those things…err...I just have other things to do…
