12This time round Year 10 was split up into two groups, girls and boys. The girls were supposed to go in first with the talk with the nurse while the boys had to sit outside waiting. The girls trudged in not looking forwards to this talk. The school nurse had a habit of being a bit too perky.
"Good morning girls how are you on this bright and wonderful day?" the school nurse asked beaming down at them as she pulled out a box from underneath the desk.
Stephanie glanced out of the window and saw the grey, gloomy clouds and raised her eyebrow, Aimee snorted and Mel shivered at the perky tone.
"Now girls I thought we would start this with a game" the school nurse said pulling out eight plastic ups and a jug filled with water. How the jug was still completely full despite being hidden under the desk (with the huge risk of it being knocked over) remained a mystery to the girls.
The girls sat there in silence as the nurse poured the water in the eight cups and then but a drop of brown liquid in three of the cups. The brown liquid immediately dissolved in the water and the nurse put cards above the cups.
"Right this is a little role play game. Four of you will play boys and four of you play girls. You'll play the character on the card and pretend to be at a party. Now when you have 'unprotected sex' you will pour a little bit of your water in each others cup, when you have 'sex' you will chink the cups and if you don't well…don't do anything. Now who'll play who? You two come over here and pick a cup"
Stephanie and Mel groaned as the nurse pointed at them a gestured them to pick on. Mel's eyebrows flew up when she read her card; Stephanie looked over her shoulder and sniggered.
Mel had to play Mike, a sex addict. The nurse pulled up six other girls to play parts and all of them groaned while reading their cards. They then all stood there silently while the rest of the female population of the year group stared at them.
"Well go on then" the nurse encouraged

The boys stood there nervously as the bell rang, the door opened and the girls trudged out looking very pale and wide eyed.
"So go on what happened?" Aaron asked Aimee, Stephanie and Mel as they walked out.
"I now see the nurse in a whole new light" Stephanie informed him

Aaron watched the three girls walk down the hallway whispering to themselves and shiver. He wondered if he did something bad in a past life and it was coming back to bite him in the arse or if his friends were just plain drama queens, he sighed and then entered the room.
