Summary;Aleksia was always known for being outspoken, brutally honest, too daring, and most of all, overly protective of her loved ones. One night, Aleksia takes up a dare from her worst enemy, Eliza Roslyn, a.k.a. ER. Through that dare, she meets Aiden Kerrich, a dark handsome man with dark secrets. Through that dare she finds out her own family's dark secrets. And through that dare, found an even bigger reason to protect everyone she loves in her life, her twin the main person. Too bad Aryana, her twin sister, feels the same about her when she finds this all out. Through Aleksia's own mind. Sometimes having that strong a mental and emotional connection with your twin sister sucks.

Prologue
"You couldn' have chosen a better place, Aiden?" I asked my best guy friend, a glass of Grey Goose and Cranberry juice in my hands. This was seriously not my style. And yes, I have a style. I also have a reputation to do whatever I feel like. Okay, this definitely falls under my reputation but that isn't the point here people!
Back to topic, we were in a country bar. Listening to who knows who and watching them dance the who knows what. Not exactly my idea of a good time. Actually... not my idea of a good time at all! "Actually, I could have. But I did not choose this time," he told me matter-of-factly. In front of him was a small glass of vodka, untouched. At his words, I turned to look at the man seated on my right. "You picked this-this-this..." I couldn't even find a word for this place.
His green eys twinkled at me. His silky green shirt and auburn red hair enhanced the color, making them seem brighter. "Yes, little one, I did." was his reply. We simply stared at each other; him with that teasing smile and those laughing green eyes, me with a dead serious flace. Turning back to Aiden, who was obviously trying to hide his smile behind the glass of vodka, I found myself saying in a very serious tone, "there are times when I feel the luckiest girl to be hanging around with cool, stylish, know where the A spots are vampires," turning to Xander, Mr. Green Eyes, "then there are times, like now, where I feel the unluckiest girl to be hanging around with cool, stylish, know where the A spots are but choose to go to the C spots instead vampires." All the while I made sure to keep my voice low.
I knew they were the only vampires and I, the only oracle, in the bar but I still didn't know how to distinguish a Hunter from a normal human being. So I wasn't sure about that. Besides, if I said vampires loud enough for everyone else to hear, what do you think the reaction would be? Hello! Not a verygood one. And how ironic that just as I was thinking about the difference between Human's and Hunter's, I was hit with a vision.
Four people, a woman and three men, stopped behind them, all wearing dark clothes, leather jackets included. "I thought we'd find some fun tonight." one of the men sneered. He was the only blonde, with bright blue eyes and a envious complexion. A grin was spread across his face. Aleksia turned and, grinning, she raised an eyebrow as she commented on his choice of words. "Are you suggesting we all have an orgy?" Xander chuckled. It took them a while to respond after seeing her. It was obvious that they were new, easily taken aback by her beauty. The girl spoke up this time. "Don't try to seduce us Vampire!"
"I know I look good but damn! I'm not that good-looking."
And then the sound of boots stopped just behind us. I rolled my eyes. "Great. Why do they always have to be right?" I muttered.
"I thought we'd find some fun tonight," Blondie said. And, just like in the vision, I turned and grinned at him. Cocking an eyebrow I asked, "are you suggesting we all have an orgy?" Just as predicted, Xander chuckled, they just stared at me, and then the broad called me a Vampire. Jeez. You'd think they could tell the difference between an Oracle. "I know I look good but damn! I'm not that good-looking." I exclaimed. "Enough chit-chat! It's four against, two so just give yourself up." The one farthest to the left growled. I looked at him for the first time. Whoa! This dude was hot. For a Hunter that is. Dark curls, sensitive liquid gold eyes and creamy skin. It was obvious that he wasn't including me in the fight. How sweet of him. But stupid. Just because girl wasn't a vampire didn't mean she couldn't fight! That sort of pissed me off.
The boys stood from their stools, all sauve like. Show offs. I stepped down from the stool as well, pretty gracefully if I do say so myself. I smiled at him, showing off white teeth-fangless of course-, and said, "Sorry hun, but you'll have to include me." He frowned just enough for me to see, and most likely Aiden and Xander. I shrugged my shoulders and pushed my thick hair back behind my shoulders. "Before we start, I would just like to warn you. Do. Not. Mess. With. My. Hair. So if I fuck you up, don't say I didn't tell you before." I said this to the girl. My hair is one of my favorite features. It was long, beautiful and dark, in natural heavy waves. Who didn't love my hair? No, seriously. I've never heard a person tell me that they did't like it. But now we're getting off topic.
She rolled her eyes and without so much as a warning, threw a kick at me. I easily blocked it with my arm and jabbed at her. And during that one second it took for my fist to smash into her average pretty face I wondered to myself, if I could go back in time, would I choose to walk away from that dare and live a, compared to this, normal life instead?
This, obviously, was Aleksia's point-of-view and only certain chapters from here on out will be in a particular person's point-of-view. Which means it'll be third person until further notice. I am currently working on Chapter One.
Love always,
