What protects our hearts
We are so fragile, so breakable
Our bones splitting make noise
We are just breakable boys and girls

Wrench it open, break it down
When did we surrender our lives?
Step inside your deepest fear, separate this world
When did we consign ourselves to oblivion?
Tell me what you see on the other side

Even if there's no meaning in life
When did we disregard the meaning of life?
At best, this world is a breeding ground
When did we conspire to create this chaos?
For paranoia and selfishness

Don't even consider blaming anyone for this
When did we loose all sense of self?
I can feel disturbance in the air
When did we turn into broken dolls?
Don't even think about leaving yet

We throw away lives - we don't see them as lives
When did we feast on the hearts of those we killed?
To shake hands with grenades
When did we devour on souls of the deceased?
I laugh to think there's pride in bloodshed

Don't you feel it's more than this
When did we forget how to feel?
Take a look between the truth
When did we sacrifice hope for fear?
And things you can not see

You swore you would get stronger
When did we miss the cracks in our armor?
Still - I swear I hear the sound of something breaking
When did we crumble into miniscule pieces of glass?
When did we become so - so breakable?
