Chapter Four: Alone in Fourth Period & Drama in the Music Room
May was sitting all by herself in room 215, looking around anxiously. She saw no one she knew in the room. French was one of her best subjects but it wasn't fun by herself. And even worse, she was sitting next to a guy who was creeping her out.
"There's nothing I can do," May said to herself, "I shall be a lone wolf, and growl at anyone who tries to talk to me!"
She howled loudly.
"Awooo! Aw Aw Awoooooo!
"Hi," the boy said, interrupting her howling.
"Hi, my name's May!" she had said cheerily, forgetting about being a lone wolf.
"Hi."
"Yeah…hi."
"Hi."
"You said that already."
"Hi."
"…"
"I have a cool pencil sharpener. Want to see it?"
"Um, ok."
The boy pulled out an exact-o knife from his bag. This made May cringe with fright.
"Feel free to use my sharpener anytime, buddy!" He hit her arm.
"Ow! That hurt!"
"You know, this thing isn't only used for pencil sharpening…"
May's eyes widened in horror.
"Monica!" She shouted.
At the moment, Poopie also had the bad luck of not recognizing anyone in his art class. He decided he wouldn't talk to anyone, just like he had done with An. He never talked to people he didn't know.
"I don't know anybody…" he whimpered to himself.
"Hi!" A girl skipped up to him and held out her hand.
"Hmm…" Poopie said.
"Yoo-hoo?"
"Hmm."
"Hello?"
"Hmm."
"Fine! Be like that!" The girl stomped away.
Poopie sighed in relief at took a seat at the back of the class. A cheery girl he didn't know took a seat beside him.
After a few minutes of class, Poopie realized something.
"Darn…" he thought, "I need to go to the bathroom but I'm afraid to ask the teacher!"
He waved his hands in the air but he couldn't get the teacher's attention.
"Want a gummy worm?" The girl next to him shook a gummy worm violently in front of his face.
Poopie had had enough and if he didn't go to the washroom in a few minutes, he would actually go "poopie' in his pants. The girl did not stop trying to shove the gummy worm in his face.
"Ahhhh!" He screamed, terrified.
This had of course gotten the teacher's attention.
May and Poopie seemed to be the only people who were alone that period. Everyone else had period four music.
"Mimi!" Joe exclaimed, happy that Mimi was in his class.
Mimi's face brightened.
"Joeyboo?"
"Oh come on!" Monica threw her arms up to emphasize her irritation. "Not this again!"
"Is this dead?" An asked, picking up a trumpet.
Monica sighed.
"An instrument isn't alive to begin-"
"Is it dead though?" An cut Monica off.
"Yeah…I guess…"
"Cool! Did I kill it?"
"No."
"That sucks."
An slumped a little. All of a sudden, she straightened up again.
"Can I kill you?" She asked hopefully.
"No!" Monica growled. She gave An a bored stare, which immediately caused An to shudder.
"That stare is seriously freaky."
Monica continued staring at An.
"What the…"
An was getting anxious.
"Stop staring already! It's freaking me out!"
Monica's eyes did not move away from An one bit.
"Seriously man! It's freaky! Stop! Can we go back to Mimi and Joe now?"
Monica smirked at the defeated An and both girls starting paying attention to Mimi and Joe again.
"Ok…how long are they going to stare at each other?" A random girl in the room asked.
"I want to kill Joe…" An stated absentmindedly.
"Where's the dramatic music?" Mimi inquired, impatiently.
"May isn't here, is that what you're waiting for?"
"Yeah…" Joe answered Mimi.
"Can I sing?" An asked.
"No…" Monica glared.
An started singing anyways.
"Do do do de do do…"
"Why the hell is she singing super mario?" questioned a girl in the corner.
"'Cause I'm special!" snapped An.
"Hello! Can we please focus on the situation at hand?" asked Joe, still frozen in place with Mimi.
The current drama was interrupted with Bingo walking into the classroom.
"Hi everybody!" she smiled brightly. Without hesitation, she seized her opportunity to use some of her self defense. Bingo karate chopped Joe's and Mimi's entwined fingers.
"Not again…" Mimi moaned.
"Bingo! What did you do?" Monica was now irritated.
"I saved you from the mushiness!" Bingo explained.
"Good job!" An gave Bingo a pat on the back.
Unfortunately for Bingo, a pat on the back from An was usually like being hit with a rock. She stumbled from the sudden strength An had forced on her.
After that little incident, a hush fell over the room.
"This is awkward…" Monica commented.
"This happens a lot lately," Joe scowled.
"I wish May was here," An said, "I could kill her."
"Nah, May's no fun without Poopie for her to bully," Monica disagreed.
There was another long silence.
"Can I have a cookie?" An looked up at Monica. Monica decided to bring out her stare again.
"F! Not this again…"
A/N: Yay! It's done! Anyways, review please! It means a lot to us!
