Tune it out
Staring at the hanging phone.
No one's calling you tonight.
Try to bob your head to the beat.
Escape into the pounding music.
Louder and louder the scream goes,
the screaming from the back of your head.
No on hears you.
No one cares.
All around you they're fighting,
cover your eyes with hair.
Block up the sounds with the music beating.
The music blaring in your ears.
Choke back the tears, threatening to spill.
Hug your chest, pull yourself together, girl.
No screams penetrate your head.
Nothing but your own.
Staring at the hanging phone,
no one's gonna rescue you tonight.
Bobbing your head to the beat.
Tomorrow do it all again.
Hear me out
I tried so hard to understand your gameplan,
tried so hard to make you read my thoughts.
But you weren't on the same page, never.
You weren't even on the same track.
Trying hard to say something with my eyes closed.
but it's too damn hard when you've lost your voice.
I was going to have a heart to heart conversation,
finally make you see straight.
maybe if I keep singing the same lines over and over again,
keep on saying your name - you'll hear me.
I'm still praying that you'll answer,
hoping you see this tear.
I've been crying my heart out,
'cause all this time I've been shouting,
my heartache in your ear.
I'm tired being the soundless scream,
sick of your 'being deaf'.
Somehow I'll force you to hear me out,
until then I'll continue to shout,
until my lungs give out.
So why don't you just hear me out now?
Last Goodbye
Please don't cut too deeply, dear.
I'm not loosing you over something like this.
They'll keep on knocking on our doors,
disturbing the little peace we had left.
Of course I'll always kiss the dry blood off your lips.
My red eyes will see you through all the pain.
Make up your mind.
I'll hold your hand.
Don't let the blood flow too freely,
I'll need to see the scars fading.
Don't cut too deeply now.
This won't be goodbye.
Hobo says the truth
To tell you the truth, these aren't my lyrics.
I stole them from a hobo I met in town.
but they get the point across, no?
There's still something missing though,
I need to say it now before I cave.
Three little words need to be said,
so I'll have to change the hobo's lyrics around.
The sun won't shine tomorrow,
the rain will continue on.
Baby, I'll keep on holding on.
Baby, I'll keep on saying to you:
No need to fear that I don't love you.
'cause I really truly do.
You and Me
Stop all your lying.
No point in staying.
You're only making me cry.
Stop wasting my time.
You've done all your crime.
You're not making it better.
There's no 'us'.
Just 'you' and 'me'.
So go and say goodbye.
We're done and over.
Over and done with.
You're through me - and me you.
So believe me when,
I say 'I loved you'.
But you have to go now.
Shut up and go.
Stop all this stalling.
You're only making me cry.
Being a Sleuth
I know why you're hiding.
I know what you did.
You think you can cover it up.
Cover up what you hid.
I can see all your mistakes.
I know who you hurt.
Baby, you think you're so clever.
Clean away the dirt.
Lie your way to me.
Try not to spell the truth.
Your other life behind you.
Don't you know I'm a sleuth?
I discovered what you did.
The moment you did it.
So why not come out of the closet.
look at me and say quit.
Come back to me and say,
you're sorry for everything.
and then maybe, just maybe
I'll forgive you for lying.
Remove your tongue from her mouth.
Get your hands away from her waist.
Or continue with your plaything.
Make me know I'm being replaced.
Just please tell me now.
You and me are over.
Continue with your cheating.
Friend, best friend, lover.
I know why you're hiding.
I know what you did.
You think you covered it good enough.
but I saw all you hid.
A/N: From now on, I'll just update this whenever I try to post a poem
