I see you there, lurking.
My eyes can always find those of yours.
The teal of them, so pure,
They flash behind your sunglasses.
I beckon to you, with my hand,
And you blush as you come forward.
I bury a hand in your dark hair,
Draw you close.
You're nervous.
Unsure.
Impatient.
I press your lips to mine with a sigh,
And you give in to me.
I love you.
…but waking up is the worst part.
The radio has (once again) jolted me away,
Unforgiving.
I sigh.
One tear falls on the carpet as I start my day,
Until I see you again…
…As I do every night.
