Chapter Four: Dinner and going home

Author's note: I know, it's been awhile but I decided I would take advantage of my inspiration to write. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

I showed the note to Sach, who didn't know what to think about it. It was almost time for me to go home and I couldn't be more relieved. Though, I would miss the snow. I would miss my friends. I would miss it all. I couldn't wait until I moved up here, but for now I was feeling a little home sick. Tucking the letter into my suit case, I headed to my hotel room in order to pack up my things and get ready for the trip back home. Sach was going to meet me later on and we were going to go out to dinner before I left. But that wouldn't be until early morning. I still had time to enjoy myself in Indiana, despite all of the weird occurrences. Making sure that I had everything together, I heard a knock at my door and turned to head towards it. Almost expecting to see no one there and another letter, I was much relieved to come face to face with Sachael.

Smiling, I tilted my head and looked past her to see a grumpy looking Rem standing off to the side before I focused my gaze back on Sach. Her human name was Kate, but I didn't like referring to her as that. It felt too weird, even though I sometimes had to refer to her as that when people didn't recognize the name Sachael. I supposed that it didn't matter much. There I went again, thinking too much once more. I quickly shook my head and stepped aside to let Sach and Rem enter the room. "I'm almost ready to go. I just need to brush my hair and teeth," I said, moving towards the bathroom to do what I had said needed to be done.

I brushed my hair and my teeth and tied it back into a ponytail to keep it out of my way. It was getting long and I was considering cutting it soon. It was almost to my waist and I couldn't help but wonder if I should cut my hair short. Shaking my head, I came out of the bathroom once I was done and grabbed my wallet and keys before meeting up with Sach and Rem. I think we were going out to a Chinese restaurant, but I could never be sure with my bad memory. "So where are we going again?"

Sach told me the name of the little restaurant and before I knew it, we were heading off to have dinner there. In almost no time, we reached the building and trudged inside of it to spend some time together before I left. I was almost sad to leave but I knew that I would need to head back to s

We were sitting at a booth and I sat down by myself while the two sat across from me. I smiled slightly and ordered a Dr. Pepper before looking down at the menu to see what kind of food this place offered. Deciding on a meal, I soon told the waiter and waited as Sach and Rem decided on something before they too ordered. Soon, the man was off to tell the cooks about our order or whatever it was they went off to do as soon as they got the order.

We talked for a little while, about different things. Nothing too important. We mentioned games and such, since Rem was into that kind of stuff too, but that was about it. Soon, our waiter returned with our food and I found myself beginning to eat. I had ordered a chicken breast with some Alfredo noodles that had bits of broccoli in it. I soon found out that it was quite delicious and made a mental note to learn how to cook this so that I could have it whenever I wanted to.

Before long, it was time to head back and I said my goodbyes to Sach. Though, I would have never have guessed about what would be waiting for me the minute I closed my door. Turning in alarm, it looked almost as if someone had been in my room but there wasn't anything missing. Though, sitting on the bed was another letter but I couldn't call sach back since she had already left with her fiancé. So I wandered off to the bed and picked up the letter, opening it with a puzzled look on my face.

Though, as soon as I opened it, I was left with the same message as before. 'Beware, sweet cherub.' Confused, I tucked the letter away and sat down on the bed, trying to figure this out but I was too tired. So, I changed into a sleeping attire and fell asleep on the bed.

It was time for me to go home and I said goodbye to my friends before heading off. I didn't tell Sach about the second letter, certain that this had to be a prank or something. The journey home passed by without trouble and soon I found myself pulling up in front of my house. Relieved, I made my way up to the door and entered the house. My mom was in her room doing something but she soon came out and looked at me. "Did you have fun?" She asked. I nodded and excused myself, carrying my stuff into my room and was greeted by the sight of my cat. Smiling, I gave Tiger a nice pet on the head before collapsing on my bed.

It was nice to be home and Tiger had missed me. He immediately hopped up and laid down on the bed beside me, purring as he closed his eyes. I turned over onto my side and petted him some before closing my eyes. Before I knew it, I was sound asleep.
