Chapter 2: First Day Of School

This place was HUGE. Bigger then any school I've ever seen. I went in and right away I knew I had a problem. I was lost. The place had about a dozen different ways to go. I didn't even have the first clue where the main office was, and the map wasn't helping either. Man, this sucked ass. I looked around to the first student I saw, a pretty girl with short hair.

"Hey, uhh, do you know where the main office is?" I asked her nervously. She gave me this look up and down.

"Either you're the new student everyone is talking about or that is the worst pick up line I've ever heard." She lifted one eyebrow at me.

"No, I mean, I'm new here...and I wouldn't use a pick up line on you or anything..." God, could I sound like more of a spazz right now? She smiled.

"New huh, and cute. That's a total plus. Name's Harriet." She gave me a hand to shake, which I took.

"Aaron, pleasure," I said, "So, the main office?" Her smile was really nice, I liked her already.

"Straight down the hall, it has the biggest sign ever, you can't miss it." She pointed down one of the many paths. I smiled at her and after a quick 'thank you' I ran off. Then I saw a huge, colossal sign that said MAIN OFFICE on it.

It was very office-y, if that's word. I went up to the receptionist and told her my name. She went to the back and pulled out a file and gave them a quick once over. Then she gave me a smile and sat back down.

"Aaron Fuller? Well, this is your schedule, map and a student councilor should be up in a second to show you around." She then went back to the computer. Thanks, really, you've been a great help. I stood there awkwardly. Waiting, wow, has my shoe always had that bit of mud on it. It looks kinda brown, not regular brown, but a dark brown. Hmm..odd, what did I step in it?

"Hey," a voice said, "I'm Amy Jester, you must be the new student," she smiled at me. She was beautiful. She reminded me of Georgina. I had a bad feeling about her.

"Yeah, I'm Aaron Fuller." I held out my hand to her and she shook it. Then she started to walk me around the school, giving me the grand tour, etc etc. She bumped into a whole lot of people who stopped to say hi and talk about some party yesterday. Then they would ask about me and it would go a lot like this:

"Yeah, and he was just like look, I like you, wanna go to bed with me? And I was like ew, no you gross thing,"

"Ugh, So disgusting, what happened?"

"Well, he was so like, girl you know you want me, so I was like umm...I'd rather kiss a fish, and he was like come on baby, you know you want this, and then he put his hand in the front of his pants! It was sooo gross!"

"No way! How'd you get outta there?"

"Well...Jake Lawrance came in and saved me,"

"No way, he is sooo hot,"

"I know...who's that?" It really sounded like that too. Like she was spitting it out. Great, right.

"New student, I gotta show him around, see you later?" Amy said to the girl, who nodded and walked off. Yeah, they were mostly like that.

"Hi!" Here we go again, this time I sat at on the bench and pulled out my book. It was the Physics of Star Trek, Yes, I'm aware of the loserness of the title. I love Physics, life will get over it.

"Hey, I haven't seen you around before," I looked up and saw one of the most gorgeous guys ever sit next to me. He had short, slightly spiked, blond hair, ice blue eyes and tan skin. He was more or less the completely opposite of me. He was also in a jock jacket, I put my book down and faced him. You'll excuse me for being a little flirty.

"Well, it's a really big school, you bound to not know someone." I gave him a small grin, which he returned.

"No, I know everyone in this school," he squinted at me.

"Well, then I guess I'm just the mystery kid that you'll never know." Man, I was good. I got up and walked away, which would be one of my bigger mistakes of the day.

As it turned out, without a guide I was lost. I pulled out my map and started trying to find my classes. This was going to be one hard day. I decided to ask around, someone was bound to help me. I found a shy looking girl and decided that she was good bet.

"Hi," I said, she looked shocked I was talking to her, "I was wondering if you knew where...are you going to be ok?" The girl was starting to hyperventilate.

"Um...do you have asthma? Are you going to be ok? Please don't faint, I don't really have the physical strength to take you to the nurse. I'll have to drag you there so..." I started to ramble.

"I think she'll be ok, so you're new here?" I turned around to see the hot guy from before standing right in front of me. That explains the hyperventilating girl. Poor girl probably couldn't take having someone so popular so close.

"Yeah, I am, do you know where room 24 is?" I asked lightly trying to hide my embarrassment at being caught trying to obviously flirt earlier.

"Yeah, I'm heading there now, you take AP Physics?" He was giving me the same look everyone gives me when I tell them I take AP Physics.

"Yeah, I know you're shocked, people usually are." He composed himself and gave me a really sexy smirk.

"No, I can kinda see it, you seem like the type to stay at home and study all the time." No way, did he just insult me? The jackass.

"I'll have you know, I only pass Physics I fail at everything else." I glared at his stupid smirk.

"Prove it, come to a party with me, Saturday, I'll pick you up at eight." Was he asking me out? Crap, I didn't even see that coming, Lauren would be so ashamed of me. Man, I missed her. No, don't think of her right now. Concentrate on him.

"Depends, what kind of car do you drive?" I remembered this line from a movie I watched once.

"Why does it matter?" He tilted his head.

"Well, I wanna know if you're worth it." I smiled, he did too.

"The Right Way if I'm not mistaken, very good movie." Now that was embarrassing. I shrugged.

"So, party, you in?" He asked again. I knew he was expecting a yes, but I didn't want to give him the satisfaction. Date or pride?

"Sorry I have plans." I walked away, luck was on my side too. I found room 24, I was right in front of it the whole time. Whoops.

So, sorry about not updating for a while, I feel horrible. I really do. Just so you all know The Right Way is not in fact a movie, I made it up. So don't try looking it up. It's not real. Anyway, thanks for reading, please review, it will make me very happy. I'll try to update more often but I'm in a brain splat. Anyway bye all!
