Book 1: Improbabilities
Chapter 1: Jeremy Adrian Carp
"Hey Jeremy! Did you hear the news?" Beth asked walking up to me.
"News?" I asked looking up from my paper.
"Yeah! We're getting a new student!" She said happily, sitting down in front of me in a chair at the lunch table I was sitting at.
"New student?" I asked raising one eyebrow.
"Is there an echo?" She pouted. I laughed and put my paper down.
"She's from Virginia." She said continuing and smiling.
"She? Oh great just what we need, another whiny girl." I said scrunching my nose. She stuck her tongue out.
"Her name is Alex Brooks. She's starting school in 2 days." She said taking my drink from my tray.
"How do you know this?" I asked taking it back from her before she took a sip. She shrugged.
"I'm student council president. I know about everything that goes on in this school and it's my duty to inform the students." She said sitting up straight with pride.
"You mean me?" I asked. She frowned.
"You should be happy! You find out about everything before anyone else." She said still frowning.
"Oh boy. Lucky me." I said sarcastically. She laughed and put her smile back on.
"I saw her picture on her files." She said.
"Oh yeah?" I asked un-interested and going back to my paper.
"She's pretty cute." She said winking at me. I glanced up and rolled my eyes.
"Want to see her file? Or do you want to wait until you meet her?" She asked anxiously.
"Who said I was going to meet her?" I asked looking up at her. Her smile brightened. I could tell this is why she was so happy and excited about this new student."You're going to be her guide." She said.
"Who said?" I snapped.
"Student council president that's who! You have a problem with it?" She asked glaring at me.
"Yeah I have a problem with it. I don't want to show some new kid around." I spat.
"Come on! Be nice! Show the new girl around, be her friend, act like she's always been a student here. You know what it was like being the new kid." She said. I glared at her.
"3 days after I got here I already had several friends." I said blankly.
"Yeah, with the students that cause all the trouble in the school." She mumbled.
"Not including you. Ms. Goody Goody two shoes." I said mocking her. She made a face.
"Jeremy." Damian said walking up to me. Beth and I looked up at him and she rolled her eyes.
"See you later Jeremy." She said getting up, waving, and walking away. Damian watched her leave and turned his stare to me.
"There's a meeting. 2:00am main hall." He said staring down at me sternly. I sighed.
"So late? I have an exam tomorrow." I sighed. He glared at me.
"I'll be there." I said and looked down at my paper. He grabbed it from me and started to read it.
"Dude, come on." I said standing up.
"You're still doing that essay for English?" He asked as his eyes narrowed.
"Yeah so?" I said grabbing it from him.
"It was due 3 weeks ago." He said blankly.
"At least I'm got it done." I said sitting back down.
"This paper is only going to get you a C. Which would make your average what F?" He said. I glared up at him. He shook his head and chuckled.
"2:00am kid." He said and walked away.
I walked out of the lunchroom, down the long hallway, through double doors, up 2 flights of stairs, and then over to my classroom.
"Jeremy." Beth whispered walking up to me.
"What?" I asked looking down at her.
"What did Damian talk to you about?" She whispered.
"Beth, why the hell are you whispering?" I asked leaning down to her. She blushed.
"No reason." She muttered.
"You like Damian." I said as my eyes narrowed.
"No I don't!" She shouted turning redder. I chuckled.
"Don't worry I won't tell him." I said putting my arm around her shoulder. She let out a sigh of relief.
"Not to today at least." I said laughing and running from her.
"Jeremy Don't you dare!" She shouted chasing after me.
"You know if you keep trying to catch me than you'll be late for class." I said running backwards. She gasped and stopped in her tracks.
"See you after school!" She shouted and ran the way I came. I shook my head, stuffed my hands in my pockets, and walked into my English class.
"Nice of you to join us Mr. Carp." Mr. Williams said as I closed the door. I walked up to him and handed him my paper.
"If it wasn't for that essay I wouldn't be in this class right now." I said going to my seat.
"Do you want me to thank it or yell at it and give it detention?" Mr. Williams said throwing my paper on his desk. A couple kids laughed and some other sucked their teeth at how stupid his joke was.
"Name one play that William Shakespeare wrote." Mr. Williams said walking back to the front of the class and standing there.
"Romeo and Juliet." A girl shouted raising her hand.
"Good! We'll be acting out Romeo and Juliet during class for the next 2 months!" He said smiling. The class groaned. I booed and threw a pencil at him. Some other guys copied.
"Alright Mr. Carp since you love Shakespeare so much. You can be Romeo." He said pointing to me. My eyes narrowed.
"Now! Who wants to be Juliet?" He asked looking over the class. All the girls in the class raised their hands excitedly.
"Oh looks like your quite popular Mr. Carp." Mr. Williams said raising one eyebrow. I sighed and rested my head on my hand.
"To hard to chose." Mr. Williams said tapping his chin.
"Jeremy!" He said looking at me.
"What?" I mumbled.
"Why don't you pick your Juliet?" He suggested.
"I'd rather not and say I did." I said. He looked at the clock and then back at us.
"Alright, I'm cutting this class short. You are to have your own copy of Romeo and Juliet by the end of the week. Mr. Carp you need to high light all of your lines in your copy and until we pick someone to play Juliet we will choose girls from the class randomly." He said putting the piece of chalk down on the small shelf attached to the black board.
"Why can't we just do that for Romeo too?" I asked.
"Because we are going to act this out in front of the school." He said grinning.
"What!?" The whole class shouted. He laughed.
"You guys are dismissed." He said waving us off.
2 a.m.
The sound of my cell phone stirred me from my heavy dreamless sleep. I slammed my hand down on the floor searching for my phone. My hand went over clothing, books, shoes, socks, and I think a couple of old sandwiches. I felt a vibration under my hand and picked up my cell phone. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the caller ID
"What the hell do you want!?" I shouted into the phone.
"Dude! It's 2 a.m. the meeting is starting in 10 minutes! Where the hell are you!?" Andre shouted.
"Home." I mumbled.
"What!? You're going to be late! You've been late for the past 4 meetings! Damian is going to be pissed!" He shouted.
"Oh boo who. Poor Damian." I said angry.
"You were asleep weren't you?" Andre asked.
"Fuck man, where did you get that idea from!? The grouchy attitude or my scratchy voice that implies I just woke up!?" I shouted. I felt a presence enter my room and I grew silent. I looked around the room and a figure appeared in front of me. They put their hand out for the cell. I grumbled and handed the phone to them.
"Jeremy and I will be at the meeting in 2 minutes. Make sure everyone else is there and seated."
"Alright. See you Damian." Andre said and hung up. Damian closed my phone and threw it at me.
"Get dressed. Your ass better be outside in 30 seconds." Damian said glaring at me.
"I'll take my damn time." I grumbled standing up from the mattress I had on the floor for me to sleep on. He put his hand around my neck and shoved me up against the back wall.
"30 seconds Jeremy." He said through his teeth. He let go of my neck and disappeared. I grumbled and grabbed my jeans off my computer chair. I pulled them on and picked up a shirt from the floor. I sniffed it to see if it was even close to clean. I started to choke and I held my nose. I threw it into the linen basket and picked up another shirt. I sniffed it. Smelled like axe. Why the hell is Oliver's shirt in my room!? I thought pissed. I stomped out of my room and over to my little brother's room. I banged on the door and waited for him to answer it. I heard someone stumble and then the door opened.
"What?" Oliver said in a groggy voice.
"What the hell were you doing in my room and why was your shirt in there!?" I shouted.
"You're going to wake mom and dad up." He said rubbing his eye.
"I don't care! Keep your shit out of my room!" I shouted and threw the shirt in his face. I stomped back into my room and slammed the door shut. I picked up a shirt from on top of my flat screen T.V. and threw it on. It was a plain black V-neck short sleeved shirt. I slipped on my chucks and quickly walked out of my bedroom slamming the door behind me. The door down the hall opened up and my mom walked out rubbing her eyes sleepily.
"Where do you think you're going at 2 in the morning?" She questioned staring at me.
"Go back to bed. I'll be back in an hour." I said walking over to the stairs.
"Excuse me. You can't go out at 2 in the morning. It's past curfew and you're only 17." My mom said folding her arms over her chest."I said go back to bed." I said walking down the stairs.
"Jeremy Adrian Carp! You get your ass back up here!" My mom shouted following after me. I rolled my eyes and walked out the front door. The front door swung open and my mom stood in the front door tapping her foot. Damian walked around his car and got into the driver's seat.
"That was longer than 30 seconds." Damian said as I opened the passenger door.
"I had trouble finding a shirt." I said sitting down in the seat.
"It's called turn on the light idiot." He said laughing.
"Jeremy! If you don't get back in this house in the next 5 seconds you're grounded for a month!" My mom shouted. I closed the door and looked forward.
"Trouble with the parents?" Damian asked starting the car.
"Just drive." I mumbled. He pulled out of the parking spot and then the sound of a door being slammed hit my ears. I looked over my shoulder and my front door was closed; my mom no where in sight.
"Looks like you won't be allowed out or do anything for a while." Damian laughed.
"You're acting like I actually listen to them." I said snorting.
"You're going to drive your parents to drink." Damian said turning a corner.
"Ha!" I laughed.
I walked into my house and quietly closed the door behind me; to exhausted to stomp in and slam the door. The living room light flicked on and there stood my mom and dad.
"Where have you been!?" My mom shouted.
"Out." I mumbled tiredly. I walked over to the stairs and a hand was put on my shoulder.
"Not so fast. We need to discuss your punishment. You woke everyone in the house up, went out past curfew, disobeyed your mom, and didn't come back until 2 hours later." My dad said. I sighed and took his hand off my shoulder.
"Just give me a month like you always do." I said yawning.
"No, you're in deeper trouble this time. We're giving you 3 months. You're not allowed out, you're not allowed to use to the phone, you're not allowed to keep your phone, not allowed on the computer, not allowed to watch T.V.; basically all you can do is go to school, work, and then home. Then all you can do at home is sleep, eat, and do you homework." My dad said.
"So what do I have to do if I have to take a shower, go to the bathroom, and do laundry?" I asked sarcastically.
"Don't get smart! Do you want us to add more time!?" My dad shouted.
"Go ahead. There's nothing else to take. I can live without those ridiculous things." I said shrugging. My dad closed his eyes tightly and took in deep breaths; trying to calm himself down.
"You know he sneaks out when you ground him right? And he watches T.V. and goes on the computer when you guys are asleep." My brother said lounging on the few top steps. I glared up at him and clenched my fists.
Oliver was only 1 year younger then me and he was as much of a pain as a little brother that was 9 years younger.
"Shut your mouth Oliver before I come up there and shut it for you!" I threatened pointing a finger at him. He chuckled.
"Go ahead. I'll win." Oliver said smirking at me. I went to run up the stairs but my dad's firm hand went onto my shoulder again holding me back.
"Olive go back to bed now! Jeremy you go to bed as well!" My dad ordered. Oliver chuckled, shook his head, got up from the top few steps, and went into his room. I pulled my shoulder forward and my dad's hand slipped off my shoulder.
"I'll just kill him tomorrow." I said under my breath and ran up the stairs 2 at a time. I walked into my room and slammed my door shut. I pulled my shirt off threw it to where ever and lay down onto my mattress, I didn't have a bed frame or a box spring, and closed my eyes.

Chapter 2: Alexandra Rose Brooks
Part 1: Economizor Vampire Encounter
My alarm went off and I reached up to the end table and hit the snooze. I covered my head with my cold pillow and snuggled under the covers.
"Alexandra! Time for school! Come on get up!" My mom called from downstairs. I grumbled to myself and threw my cover off. A cool breeze hit me and my teeth started to chatter. I stumbled over to my dresser and opened the drawer. I pulled out undergarments, a grey tank top, black ripped jeans, and went into my bathroom. I threw the clothes onto the toilet seat and turned on the shower. I stripped down and got into the shower.
I got out of the shower, put on my clothes, wiped the fog off the bathroom mirror and turned on my blow dryer.
"Alexandra hurry up!" I heard my mom shout over the loud noise of the blow dryer. I rolled my eyes and brushed the knots out of my hair. I turned the blow dryer on high and turned on the C.D. player that was on the corner of the sink counter. Secret Valentine by We The Kings was the first song to play. About 45 minutes later I was done blow drying my hair. I opened the medicine cabinet and took out my eyeliner. I put it on, threw it into the sink, and turned the C.D. player off. I looked at myself in the mirror. Plain as anyone like me could get. Light brown hair that went just past my shoulder, the end naturally curly, bangs to the side, pale skin, with hazel, sometimes green, eyes. Today my eyes were a dark hazel because I was wearing dark clothes. I sighed, opened the bathroom door, picked up my backpack, and ran out of my room.
"Fuck!" I said to myself when I was halfway down the stairs.
"Excuse me?" My mom said walking up to the end of the stairs, putting her hand on the railing, and her other hand on her hip.
"I mean, freak." I said putting on a smile. I turned around and started to run back up the stairs.
"Where are you going?" My mom called up after me.
"I forgot to brush my teeth!" I shouted running into my room. I dropped my backpack and ran into the bathroom. I took my eyeliner out of the sink and put it on the edge of the counter. I pulled open the medicine cabinet again, took out my cup and green toothbrush, and turned on the faucet. I quickly brushed my teeth, turned the faucet off, and ran out of the bathroom. I picked my book bag up, ran out the bedroom, and down the stairs.
"Are you ready?" My mom asked grabbing her keys. I stopped at the bottom of the stairs.
"Oh mom you're not going to drive me are you?" I whined.
"Yeah I'm going to drive you. Why wouldn't I?" She asked raising one eyebrow.
"Because I'm in high school! Do you know how humiliating that is? And I'm the new student I'm going to get enough tourcher from that alone. If I get seen being driven to school by my mom that's even more torture!" I said.
"Then how do you plan on getting to school? You can't drive because your license was taken away." She said.
"I can bike, I can skate over, I can use my skateboard, or I could take the bus." I said naming a list of things.
"You don't know what bus to take and it's going to take forever for you to skate or bike over." She said.
"Fine! But you drive away as soon as I get out of the car! No kiss goodbye, no hug goodbye, no 'Bye sweetie have a nice day!', and you can't get out of the car and walk me over to the office!" I said naming my conditions. She huffed.
"Fine." She mumbled. I put on my low top chucks and walked out the door. I got into the passenger seat of the car and waited patiently for my mom to get in. She got in, started the car up, and pulled out of the drive way. I turned on the radio and put it to my favorite station. 94.5. The song that was on ended and Shadow of the day by Linkin park came on. She went around a corner and a huge elegant building came into view.
"There it is. Your new high school." My mom said smiling. I grimaced.
"Drop me off here." I said pointing to a parking spot.
"What? No the school is like 10 blocks away." My mom said. I reached behind me and pulled out my skateboard.
"I'll be fine." I said. She sighed and pulled over.
"Bye Alex." My mom said. I grunted and threw my skateboard to the ground. I put one foot on it, kicked off, and road down the street. Cars flew past me and a couple of them honked.
"Get out of the street!" A guy yelled driving by me. I stared at the car and kicked off to gain more speed. The guy stared at me with a weird expression. I rolled my eyes and watched where I was going.
The receptionist guided me through the large building to my first class. World history.
"Wait out here until I wave you in." She said. I shrugged. She walked into the classroom and talked to the teacher.
"Class. We have a new student joining us today." I could hear a woman's voice said. I looked at the window in the door. The receptionist waved her hand for me to come in. I walked in and she walked out.
"This is Alex Brooks." The teacher said smiling at the class. They started to mumble to each other.
"It says here on the paper that Jeremy, you are supposed to show her around." The teacher said looking up from a piece of paper.
"He's asleep Miss. Lewis." A girl said. The teacher searched the classroom and stopped her gaze at a head down on the desk.
"Someone wake him up." Miss. Lewis said with a sigh. A girl kick the guy in the leg.
"Ow!" He said and his head shot up. Everyone, including me, started to laugh.
"Jeremy! You are to supposed to show Ms. Brooks here around the school, correct?" Miss Lewis asked. Jeremy looked over at me and his eyes got wide. What's up with everyone giving me strange looks today? I thought a little irritated.
"Yeah." He finally said his expression going to a curious one.
"There's an empty chair next to him. Alex why don't you go take a seat." She said leaning over to me.
"Right." I said walking over to the empty seat. I leaned my skateboard against the desk, put my backpack on the floor, and sat down.
"You don't really need a guide do you?" He asked leaning close to my desk. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.
"Trust me I don't want it to be that obvious of me being the new kid. You know with a guy pointing at everything saying what it is? You don't have to show me around I'll make due without it." I said. His eyes narrowed.
"What?" I asked copying his facial expression.
"Great." He said and looked at the black board in front of the class. What the…hell? I thought my expression the same.
Lunch was surprisingly, last period. I had ran into the student council president when I was walking out of my Chinese class.
"Hey Alex!" She said jumping in front of me. I took a step back and stared at her with wide eyes.
"Uhm, Hi?" I said.
"My name is Beth! I'm the student council president!" She said sticking her hand out for me to shake. I took her hand and shook it.
"Hi, I'd say my name but apparently you already know it." I said with a small laugh.
"Yeah, I read your file yesterday." She said smiling.
"You. Read my. File?" I asked.
"Yeah, the principal was talking to your homeroom teacher about getting a new student. I got curious and went to the file room and got your file." She said letting go of my hand.
"Uh huh." I said nodded and staring at her funny. She looked behind me and then around me.
"Where's Jeremy?" She asked.
"Who?" I asked. She stared at me for a moment.
"Blond hair. Green eyes. Tall." She said at the end she put her hand really high over her head.
"Ohh." I said.
"I don't know." I said shrugging.
"He's supposed to show you around." She said. I started to walk.
"I talked to him about that. We both agreed that it was okay if I found my way on my own." I said smiling and shaking my head.
"No!" She shouted startling me. I jumped a little and stared at her wide eyed.
"He's going to show you around!" She shouted. She walked behind me and started to push me.
"Where are you pushing me?" I asked unwillingly walking, scared that if I stopped moving my legs they'd snap from the amount of force she was pushing me at.
"To the lunch room." She said.
"I'm going there anyway you don't have to push me!" I shouted.
"I know! But you're not going to sit with Jeremy. So I'm going to make you." She said still pushing me.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because!" She shouted. She shoved me into the lunch room and kept pushing me. We got to a table where a guy with blonde hair was busy looking over books.
"Jeremy!" She shouted. The guy looked up gave me a weird look and then looked over at Beth who sat down.
"What?" He asked.
"You were supposed to show Alex around!" She shouted.
"She didn't want me to and I didn't want to." He said shrugging and looking back down at his books.
"I don't care! You're going to show her around!" She shouted.
"He doesn't have to honestly. I already found my way around." I said shaking my head and smiling nervously. She looked up at me with a glare. My nervous smile faded and I have her a blank expression.
"Fine then! Be that way! I tried to get you a new friend Jeremy! And I tried to get you a friend Alex! This is what I get for being nice!" She shouted. Jeremy chuckled and shook his head. A guy walked over to the table followed by 3 other guys. I felt a sense of danger. I glared at them and clenched my fists.
"Beth, I'm going to go." I growled. She stared up at me.
"No! You're staying and you're going to be friends with Jeremy!" She shouted standing up and banging her hands on her table.
"I don't think that would be a good idea Beth." A guy growled returning my glare to me.
She stared at the two of us with confusion. Jeremy looked up at the guy that spoke and then at me. He gave me the same curious look he gave me this morning.
"I knew it!" Jeremy shouted standing up. I looked over at him dropping my glare.
"Jeremy." The guy said again. Jeremy looked over at the guy.
"It's best to sit with us from now on." The guy said still glaring at me.
"What!? Are you insane!?" Jeremy shouted. The guy turned his glare to the guy. Another guy stepped forward and said something into the guy's ear. He hates me huh? I thought. I smirked.
"You know, come to think of it. I could use a tour around the school. Since its so big." I said pulling my messenger book bag over my head, putting it behind the bench on top of my skateboard, and sat down at the table.
"Yes!" Beth said smiling. Jeremy looked at me with, again, a curious expression. I heard the guy that spoke up growl. I looked up at the guy and smirked.
"Damian, chill out." One of the 3 guys said to the guy growling at me.
"Damian. I need to talk to you." Jeremy said walking over to Damian. Two of the three guys pulled Damian away from the table I was sitting at, followed by Jeremy and the last guy of the group.
"What was that about?" Beth asked sitting back down.
"I'm going to go with I have no idea." I said smiling innocently over at her.
"You were one of the people glaring." She muttered. I laughed a little and dropped my smile; looking over at Jeremy, Damian, and the 3 other guys. I tried my best to hear what they were saying, but they were to far away and out of my range of hearing.

Part 2: Economizor Vampire Discussion
*In Jeremy's eyes
"Jeremy, you can't hang around that girl." Damian stated blankly.
"First off, you're not my parents. Second off, why not? We can bring her into Economizor." I said.
"No. We're not recruiting her." Damian said.
"Why not? You said it yourself we need more people." I stated.
"Why would a vampire just randomly show up at a school which, to all vampires, is known to be the school where the Economizor vampires go to? For all we know it could be a trap. She could be a spy." Damian said.
"Or maybe she came here to join us." Adrian, Andre's brother, said.
"Or just maybe her family moved here and enrolled her in the only school in the city." Lucian said. Damian glared at all of them and then sighed.
"Alright then. Try to recruit her. But! If Ucigaş vampires attack us quickly after she joins us and attacks us at our weak spots I'll go after the new girl!" He said raising his voice but still kept it quiet.
"Fine." I mumbled.

Part 3: Economizor Vampire Questionnaire the Jeremy division.
*In Alexandra's eyes
Jeremy had gotten back from his little 'huddle' with Damian and the other 3 guys. While they were in their 'huddle' I took it upon myself to find out who they were by asking Beth.
"Who are they?" I had asked Beth immediately after Jeremy, Damian, and the 3 others walked away from the table.
"Just a group of troublemakers who sucked Jeremy into their grasp." Beth said acting as if she didn't care.
"Right. What are their names?" I asked keeping an eye on them but also paying close attention to Beth.
"Well, as you know the black haired one is Damian." She said flushing when she said his name. My eyes narrowed.
"And the other three?" I asked my full attention on her. She opened her mouth and took in a breath to talk but I cut her off.
"Full names if you can." I said. Something about them…gives me the sense that they're not normal high school students. I had thought.
"Okay…" She said eying me suspiciously.
"You know Jeremy." She said starting off.
"His full name too." I blurted out interrupting her.
"Jeremy Adrian Carp." She said. My eyes narrowed a little more.
"Damian's full name, the guy with the black hair, is Damian Christopher Harris. The guy that told Damian to chill out, the one with brown hair, was Andre Grayson Pauker, Damian and him are close. The guy with the blond and brown hair, you could call it dirty blonde, is Andre's brother, Adrian Davis Pauker." Twins? I thought.
"He's not Andre's twin. I know that's what you're thinking cause that's the question that asked a lot. Andre and Adrian are a year apart. Adrian skipped a grade and hung around with Andre and Damian. And the last guy the one that has sort of a auburn type hair color, is Lucian Kendrick Roman. He's pretty quiet and only talks when he feels he needs to. I rarely hear him speak. I've only heard him speak once and that was when a girl went over to their table and asked him to go on a date. He turned her down, flatly, coldly, I basically think of him a jerk off." She explained. I glanced over at the group. I could have sworn I saw a smirk pop up on the Lucian dude's face when Beth called him a jerk off.
When Jeremy got back to the table Beth and I were at, Damian, Andre, Adrian, and Lucian went over to an empty table and sat down. Talking, joking, laughing. A big change from the tense mean atmosphere that was just amongst us when they walked up to the table Jeremy, Beth, and I were at when Beth was yelling at Jeremy and I. Beth thought it'd be best to leave Jeremy and I to talk amongst our selves. To get to know each other. When Beth left I got up, got food, came back to the table, and started to eat. That's when Jeremy's weird stare appeared. It didn't look like he was repulsed at the amount of food I was eating more like a confused, curious, 'what the hell is she doing?' kind of stare.
I dipped a piece of bread into a puddle of ketchup and stuffed it in my mouth. I glanced up at Jeremy and his weird stare for the 10th time.
"What!?" I finally said.
"Why are you eating?" He asked.
"I'm starving. If I don't eat I'll starve and if I starve I'll die." I said biting into an apple.
"No you won't." He stated blankly.
"Did you miss the basic necessities of a human body or are you that stupid?" I asked laughing.
"Are you a vampire?" He asked bluntly. I stared at him with wide eyes as I swallowed the food in my mouth, practically choking since it wasn't fully chewed. Finally, I broke out laughing.
"You've got to be joking." I said still laughing. He stared at me with a serious expression. I stopped my laughter and gave him a serious stare back.
"Someone was let out of the loony bin a little to early." I said as I started to eat a bit more. He sucked his teeth and gave me an angered expression.
"Tell me, Jeremy, what would give you the strange, crazy, hilarious, idea that I would be a vampire?" I asked taking a drink.
"Well, you're pale for one thing. You're k-9s are like fucking daggers." He said.
"And…?" I asked.
"And what?" He asked glaring at me.
"That's all you have? I'm pale and my k-9s are abnormally sharp? Big whoop. Sharp k-9s run in my family. In fact everyone has sharp k-9s. If we didn't we wouldn't be able to eat meat. You know cause the sharp points allow us to rip apart the meat. And we have molars for eating veggies. That's why we're called omnivores." I said. He continued to glare at me.
"I'm pale because I didn't go out much as a kid in Virginia. I didn't go out much as a teenager when I was over there either. Hell I don't go out here in New Hampshire." I said shrugging.
"Why? No friends?" He mocked snapping out of his glare.
"I had plenty of friends! Just, I slept during the day and was up all night. Plus I detest the brightness from the sun and the heat." I said making a disgusted look.
"Interesting…" He said folding his arms over his chest, closing his eyes, and smirking.
"Oh come on! You've got to be kidding me! I know a lot of people who only like being up and out at night! Doesn't necessarily I'm a vampire!" I said agitated.
"In a way it just adds onto my theory." He said unfolding his arms, opening his eyes, leaning forward, and giving me a serious stare.
"That's just an urban legend any how. Vampires can go out during the day." I said waving it off.
"How would you know?" He asked smirking. I glared at him and then pouted.
"That's what most of the stories say!" I defended.
"Most of the stories say vampires can't go out during the day." He said smirking again.
"Know this from first hand experience of reading them?" I asked leaning forward and smirking as well. He chuckled.
"Besides those are the legends. Le-gends." I said pronouncing legends out clearly in the end.
"Not the stories all those teenagers write." I said.
"Know this from first hand experience of reading them?" He asked mocking me.
"Yes actually! I do! They're very interesting, mushy, action filled, romantic stories." I said.
"Mushy? Romantic? How is blood sucking, people killing, bloody gore romantic?" He asked.
"Not all stories have that kind of stuff in them! I'm talking about the stories when the vampire falls in love with the human and in the end they live together for all eternity." I said.
"So the stories where the vampire dude finds a human girl, they both fall in love with each other, he bites her, and they live happily ever after?" He asked. My eyes narrowed.
"I've read a couple. Beth has sent a few to me and forced me to read them." He said shrugging.
"Not all vampire stories have to go that way! It could be a girl vampire falling for a human guy!" I said.
"That's some twisted story." He said chuckling.
"No it's not!" I protested.
"Why so defensive? Has it happened to you?" He asked smirking. I screamed in anger and went back to stuffing my face with food. He went back to that weird stare.
"I swear to god! If you don't stop staring at me like that, especially when I'm eating, I'll punch you so hard you won't know what happened to you until you're under the x-ray machine to find out how bad I broke your jaw." I said still eating.
"Why are you eating!?" He asked practically shouting.
"Because I need to eat to live! A person can only go so long without eating you know!" I said back practically shouting.
"Quick! When was the last time you ate!?" He questioned.
"What!?" I shouted.
"Answer the question!" He shouted back.
"3 days ago!" I shouted.
"Liar!" He shouted standing up.
"What answer are you looking for!? December 12, 1902!?" I shouted.
"That'd be a better answer!" He yelled. I went to yell back but I stopped and looked around the lunchroom. Everyone was staring at us like we were insane. Even Damian, Andre, Adrian, and Lucian.
"There goes my plan of trying to blend in without anyone noticing I'm the new girl." I mumbled to myself sitting down.
"Why would you need to blend in?" He questioned quietly sitting down too. I screamed in anger, got up, picked up my book bag, skateboard, and stormed out of the lunch room.
I stomped down the hallway and out the front door of the school. I ran down the cement steps of the school and out onto the street. I pulled my book bag over my head and rested it on my shoulder. I threw my skateboard down, got on and rode off.
For those who might not know what 'Economizor' means...It means Saver in Romanian or at least that what's what the translator on iGoogle said. And for those who might not know what 'Ucigaş' means...It means Murderer in Romanian or, once again, at least that's what the iGoogle translator said. I do not speak fluent Romanian or really any of the language and the names and the place is just really interesting. So if I am wrong about the translation anyone who speaks fluent Romanian please tell me and/or correct me. Well I hope you enjoyed it. [: Constructive critism is happily accepted.
