A/N: Hi, this is a story that i wrote in year 9, it was meant to be a short story but it kinda didn't turn out that way. If anyone has any suggestions that'f be very welcome. Also if you have any ideas for monsters or such please let me know, i'm really bad at coming up with those. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 1

On a clear warm Spring Day two daughters were born to two very different families. The two girls were named Emily and Esmeralda. Emily was born into a Royal Family, which makes her a Princess. Her family ruled over the fairy realm and those who dwell in the few sections of the Forest that they ruled. This forest was called Tropical Forest, but her home was in one of the Valleys called Sunshine Valley. Emily's family was normal human beings except they have powers. Emily was one of four children. Esmeralda was born into a family with an average standard in the community. Her family lived in a cottage near the Tropical Rainforest. She was the eldest daughter of the family.

Two years later two baby boys were born to each family. Emily's brother was named Jack and Esmeralda's brother was named Mike. As the years goes by, the girls are now 16 and their brothers are 14. It could be said that the two girls were often found walking around somewhere with their heads in the clouds. As they grew older, their beauty became indescribable.

Emily was tall and slim and had long chestnut colored hair that was normally left loose down her back. The only times when her hair is up were when there was something special that requires her hair to be up, the weather or she must for no particular reason. Emily's eyes were an aqua colour and her skin was tanned. Her gowns were made of silk and other expensive materials with patterns of flowers or other on them.

Esmeralda was also tall and slim with long golden colored hair like her mother; Emma, her hair was normally worn in a plait down her back. Her eyes were the colour blue of chipped ice. Her skin was a soft pink and her cheeks the colour of a faint blush. Her clothes unlike Emily's were of plain materials with patterns hand sewed into them.

Mike had blonde hair like his father, Gregori and eyes as blue as the sky. He was tall and he would normally be found somewhere doing something active or in a corner reading a book. Jack wasn't as tall as Mike and had brown hair and his eyes were brown. He was much alike to Mike in the other ways.

On a humid summer night while Esmeralda and Mike was out walking in the forest, a storm began to gather. They tried to go home quickly but soon gave up as the rain fell; instead they tried to look for shelter. While they were looking for shelter, Esmeralda tripped over a tree root that she didn't see in the dark and Mike fell on top of her. After that everything around them was a blank.
