At First Sight

Like a naïve little girl

I gave my heart away

To a shrouded stranger

Spinning a web of words

Well enough to trap me

You stroll in

Mysterious

Alluring

You make

My heart flutter

My breath ragged

I can't stay away

I am your slave

For all I know

You could be all that I want

You could be all that I fear

There's nothing I can do now

But wait and see

What you'll do

To my fragile heart

That is now yours

Whether you want it

Or not
