A Flower

A flower in my garden
Blossoming one day
Tall and bright and full of life
Happiness to stop the gray

But all too soon it changes
A dark storm comes along
The plant so full of hope before
It won't survive…or am I wrong?

The storm will pass on soon
The sun will shine again too
