Pointless Religion
Sound rumbles though the church halls,
As beautiful music plays from
Dozens of instruments
Echoing out in harmony.
Complete unison as instructed,
While concentrating men hope
Not one mistake is made
And not one flaw is noticed.
Perfect yet unbelievably unnoticed
The orchestra plays to a crowd,
Ignorant to songs beauty
Impatient to move on with life,
Enduring the moment of the song,
As what they believe is god
Washes his prayer on them
Hoping one day in church will
Make up for the dirty deeds
Of their human nature.
