Addy had felt the need to close her eyes as she screamed. She really didn't need to see the end coming, it just didn't quite make it to the top ten things that needed to be done that day. The guy she was clutching very tightly wasn't screaming, just holding onto her shoulders extremely hard. She was sure that the autopsy people would find bruises their when they checked her body.

However as things go, she didn't die in the next few minutes like she had thought that she would. In fact nothing really happened except for the continuing fall of the elevator. Slowly she opened her eyes and shut her mouth. At first all she could see was the black shirt, with its white cursive writing on it. She turned to look around the room, wondering why they hadn't crashed to their death yet. Not that she wasn't completely grateful for that small little fact, it was just a bit odd considering that they had only been only seven floors up and should have landed already.

Their was nothing different that she could see at first then from before they had started to fall. The girl was still on the floor screaming her head off, eyes tightly closed. The other guy seemed just as startled as she felt and was looking around the room just as she was. When his eyes stopped and focused on something just above the door, he got this weird sort of look about him. Turning slightly Addy looked at what he was.

Needless to say it was no longer bouncing around between six and seven. No, it was currently just to the left of the one, on 'Traveling.' The traveling sign having not been there at all since she had gotten on the elevator. Addy felt her hands shaking as they loosened their grip on the man in front of her. A few seconds later she felt him completely let go of her and take a slight step back, not that her attention was really on that matter, it was more in the back of her mind then anything. No all she could focus on was the new entity that seemed to have appeared on in the room.

The blond took the longest to realize that she wasn't in fact crashing to her death. Her screams reduced till they were no more. She opened her closed eyes and looked around just like Addy had done earlier, making sure that everything was the same as before. She didn't notice the traveling sign yet, no first she raised herself onto her knees carefully making sure everything was in place, before moving onto standing. She seemed to be about to speak when she suddenly caught sight of what we were all staring at.

At that point Addy wasn't sure whether or not the woman's screaming or this silence was worse. It was a real toss up that was for sure. How does one respond to something that is seemingly impossible? What does one say? She was utterly confused and had no idea what was going on. The others seemed to be in about the same situation as she was for it was awhile before anybody bothered to say anything.

"So I'm gonna go with we died and this is our hell," the brown haired guy said grimacing as he looked around the not so big room.

"What! I would never be punished so heavily as to land myself with people like you," the blond sneered at the guy next to her. Before either of them could say anything more the smoker spoke up.

"The music is still playing," he commented leaning back against the wall and slid down it. He crossed his legs and looked like he was settled to stay there for awhile.

"Oh well I do love a good elevator tune," the other man said and moved to sit next to his friend.

"And here I thought it was only that one in that building next to the red one," the black haired one said.

Addy ignored them not finding it interesting to listen to inside comments and not understanding a single word of it. Not knowing how long they were going to be, well falling or whatever it was they were doing, she sat down and leaned back against the wall that she had originally standing next to. She didn't want to be sitting next to the two of them, she was sure it would be weird. Then again it was kind of odd to worry about such things when one was trapped in an elevator that hadn't stopped falling.

There was another odd thing about this. Why weren't they all heading towards the ceiling? They were going down, that much she could feel and at a pretty high speed yet gravity just didn't seem to be bringing them anywhere but chained to the earth. If she knew more about science and such like this she was sure that it would have puzzled her more, but she just couldn't seem to focus her mind on the matter. Or maybe she was just choosing to ignore all the impossible things that were occurring. Either way sounds plausible at this point.

An hour went by without anything really changing. They were all sitting down waiting for something to happen, if anything would. With each minute that passed though that option seemed to grow dimmer and dimmer. Addy had started to feel kind of sleepy and was actually contemplating just lying down and going to sleep. It wasn't like there was anything else she could do at the moment and sleeping just seemed like such a good idea. Or of course she could hit the open button and hope that they all didn't get sucked outside into the current unknown. That was always an option, not one that seemed intelligent, but one all the same.

"Fuck this is boring," the non-smoker complained and banged his head back against the wall as if to emphasize his frustration in the matter.

"You could be dead," the other one pointed out.

"I'm not sure if that wouldn't be better then this hellish thing that we seem to be in," he shot back.

"If that's the way you feel how about you go out through the emergency exit, that way I'll survive and can tell of your stupidity to the world." the taller one said with another one of his slight smiles.

"Your effing ridiculous, you know that right?" he said.

"It's perfectly plausible," A moment of silence followed this before the other man couldn't seem to take it any more and started talking to the others in the elevator instead of just the smart ass of a friend that he had landed himself with.

"So anybody got a name besides 'Stick-up-her-ass' or girl?" he asked glancing between the two.

Addy took a wild guess and assumed that she was girl and the blond was the other. Addy had taken notice that the brown haired guy didn't seem to have any sort of control over his tongue or just didn't really care that he said a lot of curse words. She rarely ever said them as her Mother thought that a proper young lady would not taint herself with being so obtuse. Her Mother had even gone so far as to punish her brothers if they used such language around their sisters. The blond apparently wasn't too pleased with the reference either.

"Where do you get off calling me such an ignorant and rude name when you don't even know me?" the blond demanded.

"The fact that you readily assumed that I was referring to you when I said stick up the ass means that you already had some clue as to what kind of creature you are," the man answered rather logically in his estimate.

"Oh my, why I, oh just shut up. I am no such thing and your just prematurely judging me," the girl huffed.

"I'm amazed that you knew such big words like prematurely," he turned to look at his friend, "Hey have you heard that blond joke about the pool?"

"I'm Addy Thompson," Addy suddenly spoke up before the other man could say anything or the blond could explode and might possibly kill the rude man.

The man seemed surprised her interruption, but not terribly upset. He smiled delightfully at her and completely forgot about the blond joke that he had mentioned to his friend.

"Addy, is it? Short for anything by chance? I'm William, but like to go by Will, or Liam whichever suits your fancy. My friend here is well William too, but he much prefers to go by Billy. I find it rather odd but he refuses to answer to anything else I would like to call him," that last thought seemed to perplex him the most.

"Yes Will, it is rather odd that I wouldn't like to be called Little Willie, especially when considering that I'm taller then you," the man remarked lightly not in the least ruffled by his friends or his own statement.

"That fact is irrelevant," Will said.

"Only you are irrelevant," Billy said.

"You are so way more irrelevant then me,"

"The very air you breath is irrelevant,"

"The very ground you stand on is irrelevant,"

It was just like the why game, only with the word irrelevant. Addy wanted to chime in that the whole conversation on the relevancy of the others existence was irrelevant. Then again they could of course take that as her joining in on their little game and continue on with it just the same and expecting her to go along with it. When in reality she just wanted it to stop. She hated when her brothers played the why game with her.

"I'm Clarissa Anderson, My father is the President of Anderson and Company. We own most of the town you know," the blond announced.

Three sets of eyes turned to stare at her. None of them seemed the least impressed by her announcement. Clarissa also didn't seem pleased by their reaction in turn. She was most likely used to people being amazed by that fact. Addy just felt that it was rather obvious that she was rich and that they really didn't need to know what her father did for a living. No it might have been more impressive if she had done something in the work force rather then just live off her Daddy's money. Then again Addy felt she was being a bit judgmental after all she didn't know the girl and shouldn't assume things about her. Knowing that and changing her opinion on the matter was a completely different thing though. Will seemed totally uninterested in her, a complete turn of the looks he had been sending her earlier.

"If we became friends with a third William, what would we call him?" Will turned asking Billy.

"We wouldn't, he'd take one look at you and run screaming," Billy replied easily enough.

"That's what you always say," he said slightly miffed about the comment.

"Because the truth never changes," he said easily, very unaffected by his friends attitude.

"I can't believe I'm stuck here with you two," Clarissa wailed out of nowhere.

"Well that's not a very nice thing to say, Addy is just right over there, you completely forgot about her," Will said. The blond turned to look at Addy before glancing back at the guys.

"I didn't forget about her, I don't mind her, it's you two that I wish hadn't come on this elevator," she said.

"That makes the three of us," Will shot back.

"Don't include me in your fight," Billy said crossing his arms in front of his chest, bringing Addy's attention to the scars that lined them. She wasn't the only one however to be staring at them this time, Clarissa had her eyes on them as well. Since Will had already been focused on her in the first place, it didn't take him very long to figure out what she was staring at. His eyes followed hers to stare at the man's arms.

Billy once he realized that he had the focus of them on his arms rather then on his arms seemed not in the least upset. In fact he raised them up in front of him and started to move them so they could see that there didn't seem to be any part of him not untouched by a sharp object. Will was the first to break the silence.

"I think we should open the emergency hatch," he announced, this of course worked like he had planned and taken the attention off his friend.

"That's just crazy we don't even know what's out there. Opening it could get us all killed and I for one don't want to die because of your stupidity," Clarissa said.

"Hey I'd like to know what's out there and if we die, so what? What else are we gonna do for who knows how long that this thing goes on for."

It would seem that they were in for a big debate on the matter. It might have even gotten heated and physical. Of course the decision was taken out of their hands when their small little box was banged hard from the side and then the other side. Screams echoed once more as the elevator was smashed from side to side and dents began to form in the walls. The four people trapped inside moved quickly away from the walls trying to avoid being killed by the sudden movements. There was no control over anything and the ground shook beneath them causing them to trip all over the place and hit the walls even as they moved. When everything came to a halt twenty minutes later none of the occupants were conscious to see it and the once gray floor was becoming a very pretty shade of red.
