The Wal-Mart Trip From Hell

Wal-Mart had never seemed so scary before. Zombies crawlin' all over the town, and we're going into a building with only like, 4 exits, all on different sides.

"All right," I started, loading up my pythno and glock. "We go in, get some food, and Twinkie can get his stuff for C4, and I'll grab some stuff for molotovs." They all nodded and we headed in. "Stay frosty." I said as we entered the second set of doors.

They all gave me a 'what the hell' look. "I've always wanted to say that." I said, ignoring their stares. Twinkie started off towards the cleaning supplies area, "Wait." I called. "Have Blake go with you." So Twinkie and Blake walked off towards the cleaning supplies. "All right, Cade, you're with me. The rest of you, go get some canned food, and bottled water." They nodded and were off.

"So, where to?" asked Cade.

"The camping section." I said walking off.

We walked over to the camp stoves, and I started to pick up bottles of lighter fluid. "Grab as much as you can." I told Cade, pulling over a cart and dumping the bottles in. We stayed there for about, oh ten mionutes, before the cart was filled. "Okay, to the alcohol area." I said, grabbing a second cart while pushing the first. As we walked towards the alcohol, we started to smell something.

"What the hell is that!?" shouted Cade. "Oh nasty! The meat's rotting." He was right, the alcohol was right next to it, no waonder we were smelling it.

I pulled out my python and cocked back the hammer. "Be careful." I said, slowing down.

"Why?" he asked.

"Rotting meat. Don't you think it's odd we didn't find any zombies in Wal-Mart? They must be back here." And as we walked up tio the entrance of the aisle, we saw everyone but Twinkie and Blake. standing there. Derf caught sight of us and motioned for us to be quiet.

"Theres like fifty of 'em by the meat." he whispered. I nodded and grabbed a bottle of whiskey. I walked back across the floor and grabbed a kids shirt. I tore into strips and set them in the cart. I then knocked the rest onto the floor, and dumped half the bottle out on them. I opened a bottle of lighter fluid and poured it in. I grabbed a strip of cloth and stuck it in, turning the bottle so as to wet the cloth. I pulled out my lighter.

"All right, grab some whiskey, and start throwing it at them, throw it at the floor and the wall above, we're gonna burn these bastards.

We all grabbed two bottles each, and when I nodded, started to throw. As we threw them, we'd grab more. The sound of breaking glass and whiskey splashing all over seemed to alert them.

"Shit!" shouted Ian as they all turned back at us. "What now?" as these words left his mouth, a lit molotov flew over his head, and smashed onto the ground igniting all the zombies.

"Fuck yeah!" shouted David.

"It's not over yet!" shouted Colten pointing at the now burning zombies stumbling towards us.

"Shit." I said. Gotta think! Gotta think! I shouted in my head. Come on, come on, come- I got it! I grabbed a couple of bottles of lighter flid and chucked them into the fire.

"What're you doing?!" shouted Blake as he and Twinkie running up to us.

"Watch." I said. The bottles were bulging. And suddenly, they exploded. Throwing bits of shrapnel into the surrounding zombies, taking out at least twenty.

"Good, but there are still more." said Twinkie. "Don't worry, I got this." he said holding up a little tin lunch box.

"You gonna beat 'em with it?" asked Derf.

"No." he said throwing it. "Get down!" he yelled, diving to the floor. We did the same, just as a huge explosion went off.

"That was C4, wasn't it?" I asked him.

"Yup, nice sizedbrick too." he answered.

"It was weird." said Blake, as we all got up. "I stood there and watched him do it, and I still don't get it. One minute its a box full of cleaning stuff, and the next its a brick of C4."

"Well, it doesn't matter how he did it." I said. "What matters is, he got rid of them all." And it was true. There were only smears of red and black leaft of the zombies. "Allright, get the food and lets go."

As we were walking out, all of us pushing a cart full of stuff. We heard, someone running.

"Hold on Susan!" they shouted.

Wait, I thought. Only noe person calls me Susan. "Annie?" I called.

"Duh." she said, sliding around a corner. "Heard the explosions, figured you'd be the only one to come into here while there were zombies."

"Wait, why're you here?" I asked.

"Skipped school, thought it'd be fun to screw around. Boy, did I ever pick the wrong day to do it." She finished, wiping sweat off her head.

"Well, lets go. More'll probably show up soon, we made a lot of noise."

And as we all walked ou the door, I stopped.

"Hold on!" I shouted, running back in.

"What're you doing?" shouted Cade.

I came back out a minute later with a cartfull of .

"The essentials." I said.

"Gosh." said Colten, slapping his face.

"Shut it." I said. "Lets just get all this shit loaded and out of here."

About twenty minutes later, we were back on the road.
