Our Beautiful Sky

Covered in the snow of a pristine innocence,
the future ahead looks beautiful;
now that we stand on the brink of the abyss,
can we look back to see the mistakes
and work to right the wrong in our lives?

The goddess that smiles down on us
cries as we wander off the path discerned for us;
tears of a broken heart that fall from the dark sky
become rain that beats on the window of my empty home.

"A beautiful vision of the memory of our blue sky.."

Stop lying to yourself, my love;
ultimately the sorrow of your false endeavour
will leave you cold and alone in its wake.
Can you still see the dream we shared for so long,
resting in wait at the end of our journey?
If we stop now, then we'll surely never reach it.

Blanketed by the pureness of the winter snow,
our past can vanish in the blink of an eye
if we can just walk together into our own private world.
