A/N: This is just a short little something that came to mind while watching a movie. Enjoy. Reviews are appreciated.

I had been sitting on the ugly, old couch in the living room that fateful day. I was getting my daily dose of a Spanish novella, or soap opera, even though I couldn't understand a gosh darn word they were saying. Just as Maria was telling Julio, "El bebé no es el suyo," I heard a banging outside.

I ignored it, there was always some crazy stuff going on in this trailer park. I settled back into the indentation I had made in the couch and got ready to see Julio's reaction. The banging continued, and a man's voice called something. I growled, irritated.

I jumped off the couch and stomped to the front door of the doublewide. I yanked the door open and stuck my head out, ready to tell them to shut the hell up. I was expecting some rowdy kids, but instead there was chaos running through the trailer park.

"Bounty hunter!" A man screamed, as he ran by my trailer, banging a stick on a metal trash can lid. "Bounty Hunter!"

People were running around, cars were irking out of the park and I stood there, like a deer in head lights. It was a while before it clicked in my head. I needed to be one of those people running out of here. I hadn't shown up in court for my trail 3 and a half months ago. I slipped my shoes on, grabbed my car keys and slammed the door behind me, not even bothering to lock it.

I slid into my car and stuck the key in and turned it. Nothing happened. I tried it again. Still nothing. I was starting to freak out. After several tries and fails, I jumped out of the car and started heading over to my neighbor's place, hopefully they hadn't run off.

"Excuse me, miss. Are you Isabella Brewster?" I stopped in my tracks as I heard a deep male voice call out to me from behind. I closed my eyes. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. They're gonna take me to jail.

I turned on my heels and faced the man, opening my eyes. "Yes."

"Good. You're the only one we came here for today... But it looks like we'll need to come out here quite a few more times to get all these... people."

I scoffed. "Whatever."

The man, a tall, handsome blonde guy stared me down. "Sorry, but I'm missing my novella. So let's just go already."

The man walked over and slid the handcuffs onto my wrists, then led me to his car. I slid into the back, wear a very muscular man, glared at me. I glared right back.

It was just as we were about to pull off when I heard a car screech to a halt behind us. My eyes widened as it barely hit the bumper, causing the car to jerk forward a bit. The sound of stomping feet was heard and then the door I was sitting by was yanked open and a hand reached in and pulled me out.

I was freaked out. I was dragged along and thrown into the car that had hit the bounty hunter's. It then reversed and pulled off, speeding down the dusty road.

"That was a close one, wasn't it Iz?"

"Way too close, Ian." I told my partner in crime.
