Pitter-patter goes the rain
As it drives my heart insane
Drip-drop goes the drizzle
As my blood begins to sizzle
Crackle-crackle rings the sky
As my tongue is caught in lies
Rumble-rumble I hear so close
As sweet cologne meets my nose
Sh-shh says the breeze
As it wraps round scrawny knees
Tweedle-dee sings a bird
As I realize love's absurd…
