This is a calm day here at this lake side

-The sun shining without a cloud in the sky,

With my love by my side

-Without a care

-Without a problem

-With no sense of time

-We're doing fine

Months go by as the sky grows thick with a misery

A grey cry of rain in our eyes as this calm-

-lake becomes turbulent with each teardrop it ripples the surface

Our sparkling calm water disturbed

Our sunshine hidden behind a thunderous cloud

-Although the surface isn't smooth and the forecast is long,

Deep under our lake is an un-affected calm

Waiting for a new day

For our rain to seize and sunshine to break this overcastted pain

I long for the day our waters are calm

I long for the day our lake is back to how it once was…

-Without a care

-Without a problem

-With no sense of time

-For us to be, just fine
