"Poetry—I Shall See the Rhythm" (THT)

Dark, ominous, shapes form

Painfully surrounds menacing perimeters

And I question myself why

A Powerful surge strikes

Erratically elevates

Till breaths grow fatally faint

Like condensation on a chilly, winter window

It is there temporarily for that moment

And dissipates the very next

A fascination illuminates a part of my soul

Enthralling, mesmerizing

Oh, how it shines, brightly,

By fresh, ever-green fields, gliding softly

Persuaded by parental authority

Overflowing with warmth

Whose embers appear with steady pace

The nearly impossible amounts of specks

Flutter in and out of existence

Glowing, blushing cheeks

A trace of a smile

You know why
