Challenge for myself: for every letter of the alphabet, think of a word/phrase and write a chapter that uses that word/phrase. All of these events will be connected to one another in one big story, in case you're confused. Suggestions are open for letters D and up.
I'm sure this has been done before, but it seemed like it would be fun. Reviews are appreciated!

A is for Animal Magnetism
"I'll give you a dollar if you hit on William Wells," my best friend Eliza proposed.
"Uh, let me think about it," I replied, pausing for dramatic effect, "No."
"C'mon! It'll be fun…you know you want to," she said, nudging me with her elbow.
"No! I just want to eat my lunch, El." I told her, shooting her a death glare. She was apparently unaffected by it because she reached over and stole a cookie from my lunch. Ho-face.
"What if I give you two dollars and you only have to use a bad pick-up line on him? But you can't tell him why you're hitting on him or the deal is off."
"Will you also stop eating my damn cookies?" I asked as I swatted her hand away from my bag of cookies. I always had to pack extra cookies because she stole all of mine. Damn cookie thief.
"Maybe…But I'll know if you told him the truth. I can always tell." she replied with a maniacal grin on her face.
"Urgh, fine," I told her, giving in to her ridiculous dare. I pushed myself out of my chair and shoved my long, brown hair out of my face. I walked towards Will's table and sat down in the chair across from him. "Hi Will!"
"Hi April?" He looked confused. I don't really talk to Will even though we have similar friends. From what I know of him, he's smart and seems funny. He has shaggy black hair and really blue eyes; he's tall and lanky. I've talked to him before, of course, but was kind of awkward since we didn't really "click" or anything. I took a deep breath, before I asked him, my face already turning red,
"Are you from Tennessee?"
"Uhh..no. Why?"
"Because you're the only ten I see!" Kill me now. End my misery.
"Excuse me?" Will asked, arching an eyebrow. His friends were already laughing. "What was that about?"
"Nothing," I said, raising my eyes to meet his. "Seriously, don't thing too much about it. Really." I left the table with as much dignity as I could muster (i.e. none) and walked back to my regular seat, where Eliza was shaking with silent laughter. "Don't even start." She ignored my warning and asked,
"How'd it go?"
"I think you know the answer, El."
"Tell me..."
"Just pay up. I did it and embarrassed myself. Dare complete." Eliza handed me two crumpled dollars out of her pocket and my bag of cookies she had stolen.

When the bell rang for the end of lunch, I shouldered my bag and tried to push through the crowds. God, I hated people who walked slowly. Some of us like to be on time. I felt a tap on my shoulder and jumped a little. I scare easily. The people at the haunted houses love me.
"So what the hell is up with you?" It was Will. Let the embarrassment begin.
"I told you not to worry about it," I muttered, blood already rushing to my face. I quickened my pace.
"Just tell me," Will pushed, keeping up with my faster pace. Stupid tall people with their stupidly long limbs. Why couldn't he just let it die?
"Fine," I said, letting out a breath, "if you must know, Eliza put me up to it. It was a dare."
"Oh," he said, looking a little crestfallen for a second.
"What did you think it was?"
"Pure animal magnetism," he replied with a cocky grin and then turned into a classroom. Apparently he wasn't that upset by my explanation.
