Prologue
Why is it that everyone accepts this world the way it is? Hasn't anyone ever wondered if this world that we know is really there? Maybe this is our reality but another person's fiction. Hasn't anyone ever wondered that? Maybe this world we live in isn't so set in fact as we thought it is. Maybe we're just in someone's dream, and the moment they wake up we'll be gone! Maybe our thoughts and actions aren't really ours, but just someone else thinking of what we would do. Maybe our reasoning and logic are fiction and nonsense to someone else. Just imagine it…a place that is completely different from this world…a place where the sky is pink, and the grass is orange! Wouldn't that be the best?
A place where everything is opposite!
Where dogs meowed and cats barked. A place where you sleep when the sun is bright out, and awaken when the stars are the only things in the sky. A place where the stars are different shapes and could be seen clearly with the naked eye. A place where hair colours change as fast as parents change babies diapers. A place where people don't group everyone into specific categories. A place where anyone can be anything! Where nobody judges anyone! Where you won't be criticized if you have a different skin colour, religion, or sexual orientation! A place where there is peace! At least for the most part.
Sure, many scientists would probably disagree with my theory, but I believe that there is such a place. There is a place which is opposite of this world we live in! Maybe it's in another dimension, but haven't people been trying to find out if there are other dimensions?
I believe there are.
There are other places where magic takes place, where life in never ordinary, and where the people are as eccentric as they get! There is a place where everything has bright and bold colours, where the stars are the brightest things around, where creatures that no one has ever heard of are! And deep forests where the creatures reside, when, sometimes, people go in there and never come out! Where those forests are shrouded in mysteries and some are even afraid to go near them! Where the creatures range from ferocious to cuddly, and have all different shades of fur!
Oh, how glorious that would be!
Where the sun has an attitude, and the trees are prima donnas! Where the tall, tall trees lean over to look at their reflection in the many lakes! Where the lakes sparkle and shine even brighter than the ones in this dimension! Where there are even creatures in the deep, dark sea! Even a creature that closely resembles a mermaid - except that these creatures have a sense of humbleness and modesty, instead of vanity. A place where the water and fire whisper to whomever is near them during the night, where they share their secrets with the world. And you can hear the wind singing its whimsical tune in your ears. Where the rain hums its solemn dreams as you listen, enraptured by its mellow voice.
Can you imagine what tales the wind and rain, and fire and water, would tell?
I believe that there is a place that is different than our world, a place that some would never be able to accept. A place that has mystery all around it, and yet is so open. A place where many a secret lies, and are just awaiting someone to find them out. A place where everything has a rightful place for in that world, and everyone acknowledged it.
But there would also have to be things that the world didn't agree with.
Maybe the trees would whisper deceitful tales, and the lakes would eagerly listen to them spin webs of lies to everyone. Maybe the colours of everything would change spontaneously to confuse people. Maybe there was a group of people who didn't like the way things were run in this world, and were planning to disrupt the peace. Maybe the nature would join their side.
Maybe, maybe, maybe.
This place may have wondrous colours and exciting nature, but it may also have its dark secrets. This place may have beautiful creatures, but they could have hidden agendas. This place may have this and may not have that. This place is full of maybes, but one thing I know for certain it that
I believe this place is even closer than we think.
A/N: Ok, so I'm thinking of continuing with this story, in fact, there is a very good possibility. Alright, let's just say that I'm working on the first chapter. Anyways, if you liked this then be kind and REVIEW! Heh, heh, heh. If you like this, then reviewing would also give me more motivation to write faster!
Besides, summer holidays are approaching faster and faster. I'll have more time to write soon.
