The rush of adrenaline

Through my veins

(like a thousand Red Bulls)

When you hold my hand

The thousands of words

Rushing through my mind

(they all end with "happily ever after")

When you say my name

I wish you could smell

The bitter fragrance

Of unrequited love

(like rotten eggs and the sweetest perfume)

That clogs my brain

When you look my way

I wish you could taste

The words on the tip of my tongue

(i just know they'd make you fall in love with me)

That die on my lips

When you say "hello"
