Hey guys! I got this idea from an America's Next Top Model episode. Yay inspiration!:)
My alarm woke me up at 5:30 today. An hour and a half before it was supposed to. That was the first thing that went wrong that day. I tried to shut my eyes and renter my dream, but I knew it was no use. I could never go back to sleep once woken.
"Good morning, Till."my Auto greeted me as I fumbled for my glasses. Even with them on I ran into my doorframe and stubbed my toe twice in the six steps it took for me to get to the bathroom. "Are you sure you are well this morning, Till?" Auto asked in its usual mono tone voice as it hovered behind me. I ignored it as I stripped and started the shower.
"Aaaaahhh!" I screamed as the ice cold water stunned me. I slipped on dropped soap and bashed my head on the side of the tube. "AAAAAAaaahhHHHHH!" My voice cracked embarrisingly and I was glad only Auto was there to hear.
"Are you in need of assistance?"
"No, Auto, I'm perfectly fine!" sarcasm dripping in my voice. Auto only hovered away to make breakfast. I sighed. My attempt to teach Auto sarcasm over the years had failed epically.
Groanig, I picked myself up and continued getting ready for work. Everything seemed to go wrong. I dropped my glasses while cleaning them and they broke. On the carpet. My Iron burned a hole in my favourite shirt. The milk in my ceral was beyond sour and I only realized this after three bites. Auto couldn't tell if milk was sour of not. Giving up on brekkie I rushed out the door. Somehow I was running late even though I had started the day with plenty of extra time.
There was not a single Taxi in sight.
I stood on the sidewalk for a ridiculus 40 minutes trying to hail a non-existing cab. Finally, a lazy taxi turned the corner. I whistled and the cab sidled over to me. The back door popped open and the small stairs gracefully unfolded for me so I could step to the hovering car. I was about to jump inside when I felt a light tap on my shoulder.
I turned. A girl, well woman really, stood before me. She looked to be in her twenties like me. She was pale, too. Her skin looked so breakable, stretched over her bones so. It felt like silk over glass. I knew because her soft fingers were touching my face. Gently carressing my cheek and smiling. She was pretty I decieded. Her lips were red and her hair was curly and dark. Dark as night. Her eyes were the exact oposite. Blue; like the color of a mid June afternoon.
She leaned in slowly. Slow enough for me to get what was about to happen. She pressed her lips to mine once. Twice. She molded her body to me, thowing herself into the kiss. Our tongues wrestled and faught. She pulled back suddenly and smirked at my expression. She leaned in once more to peck me quickly on the lips before jumping into the Taxi and speeding away.
I swear I stood there for at least ten minutes. Did...did she just steal my taxi? Oh my god, I was used! Hmmm...I don't think I mind being used, especially by her. I smiled at the thought. It was too bad I didn't get her name. I sighed. I walked back home decieding to skip work today. I stuck my hand in my pocket and was surprised to feel something there. I pulled it out and grinned.
