Peaches

Taxo, nom-by any other form is still
a peach: four legs, a tail, green gills,
blue fins, bionic arms, pills. I remember
when peaches used to be fuzz, and the pears
would all run when the sirens would sound.
There were lots of them then, on
the trees, in the fields, in the bowl
on the table that was perfectly round,
until someone decided that peaches
are dull, and since that day, not one
has been anywhere found.
