Beautiful, Dirty, Rich

Daddy I'm so sorry,

I'm so s-s-sorry yea,

We just like to party,

Like to p-p-party yea.

The next morning I woke up and I realized that there were only three more weeks until summer would be over, and that only meant one thing: The annual trip to the Hampton's.

I'm sure you all know what the Hampton's are; well if you don't the Hampton's refer to a series of towns on the east end of Long Island, New York.

There are the East Hampton's and the South Hampton's.

Most of Manhattans finest families including our own, the Ryan's, Leslie's family, and Austin's family take a trip down to celebrate the end of summer.

The Hampton's consist of these six major things: Manhattans elite, mindless hookups - which I have yet to experience being the virgin I am, to die for shopping centers, hot guys, killer tans, and the annual labour day party.

If you're even lucky to be invited to spend a weekend in the Hampton's then you are a for sure clue-in. You get invited only to the greatest parties, in the hottest clubs, you shop in the best boutiques, and you get introduced to the hottest guys. You're a somebody now. You're one of the social elite you are in the inner circle - no you are the inner circle.

Luckily, I was born in. I am a princess and I know it. But my GPA is a perfect 4.0 and I've played the piano and danced since I was 6, now I'm almost 16.

My thoughts were interrupted by the loud knock on my bedroom door.

"Knock, knock," my dad says as he walks into my room. "I wanted to talk to you, about yesterday." He says cautiously.

I sigh, a frustrated sigh. When is he going to give it up, I thought to myself.

"Dad, I am not going to apologize and I'm not going to take back what I said in the kitchen." I informed him.

He looked surprisingly calm and understanding. Like the way he used to be before he married the she-devil.

"I know baby, and no matter how much I want to, I can't change the way you feel about Clarisse. However, you will stop openly disrespecting her in our home. And I wanted to say that I am very sorry, for springing the baby need on you like I did." He said pulling my head up to his lips.

I smiled up at him and I could tell he was expecting an apology from me as well.

"I'm sorry too, daddy. I'm happy that you're happy about a new baby," I said sincerely, "But," I probed "can we talk about my birthday party?"

"You always manage to make a conversation about you, don't you?" My dad said smiling. "How about I make your brother throw you a birthday party down at the vacation house? Sound good?" He asked.

I nodded to give my consent because my brother always knew how to throw a party. Our cleaning bill could attest to that. I smiled and kissed my dad on his cheek and got up to start packing my things for the Hampton's.

After I took a long, hot shower I decided on my blue 6 Shore Road Dreamer's mini dress and a pair of grey Rebecca Minkoff pumps. I walked out of my bedroom and into Luca's to see Carter sitting on Luke's bed eating cereal.

"Where's Luke?" I asked impatiently.

His mouth was disgustingly full so when he attempted to answer me I held up my hand and stopped him. "Never mind and close your mouth."

I walked into Luke's bathroom casually and sat on the counter.

"Did dad tell you that you're throwing me my birthday party?" I asked.

He looked at me through the the mirror, continuing to wash his face and nodded.

"So, what were you thinking? Full blown birthday bash at the summer house? Or private party at a private club?" He asked.

I pretended to ponder for a while but I knew he knew exactly what I wanted. I mean it was my sweet sixteenth.

"Full blown birthday bash. I want everybody who is anybody to be there, all of my friends and all of yours." I said excitedly.

Sixteen means a lot amongst the upper class of the Upper Eastside. It means that I am finally a woman, that even though Luca and Carter are two years older I could hang out with their friends. Not that I didn't already.

The next few hours me and my family sat in the back of a small limousine and rode down to the Hampton's.

As soon as I could see us pull up to our summer home I pulled on my black Ray Bans and slid out of the car.

I strutted up the driveway inhaling the familiar scent of fresh cut grass, and salty ocean water.

I had to go freshen up before picking up to Leslie at her house, excited to drive for the first time in my new midnight black '15 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, which my father had gotten me earlier this year. Seeing how I had received my license early.

Just as I was walking back from the powder room I collided with Carter. He eyed me generously.

"Your legs are teasing me, babe. Hope you aren't doing that on purpose" He smirked.

I smiled back at him seductively.

"Yeah, I am, because I plan all of my outfits just hoping you like them. I bought this dress just for you." I said blankly. My smile morphing into a straight line.

I was just beginning to walk right past him when he grabbed me by the waist and held me against his chest. I could feel his perfect pectoral muscles against my shoulder blades.

My heart sped up as he leaned down to whisper in my ear, his breath tickling me.

"Don't tease me like that, baby. I'm not sure my girlfriend would appreciate it." He whispered seductively.

He let go of me and grinned widely. I turned my head hoping my hair would conceal my blush. I glared at him once I was finally composed and he started to laugh.

"Hey, don't blame me; you're the one who wants me." He said. I glared even more.

"God, you are such an asshole sometimes." I said stomping past him into my car.

I took a minute to slow my breathing and compose myself, I swear my face was as pink as my steering wheel cover.

I drove the ten minutes to Leslie's house, I could have walked but Les wanted to see my new car and I didn't feel up to walking into town today.

I walked inside saying hi to Leslie's parents and little sister, Autumn before heading to her bedroom. I walked in and saw her writing in her diary at her vanity. I swear that thing knew more of her secrets than me her best friend.

"Hey babe, what are you up to?" I asked.

Nothing, you ready to go?" She asked me back, referring to our pending shopping trip.

I had to find the perfect dress for my party and I couldn't buy anything without her opinion. We walked outside towards my car and she stood in awe, admiring the car.

"This car is so beautiful, Al." She exclaimed. I smiled at her in amusement.

"I know, isn't it?" I asked rhetorically.

I jumped into the driver's seat while Leslie walked over to the passenger's side carefully, not to damage anything.

"Les, it's not a priceless artefact. Get in and let's go." I said slipping on my round Ray Bans.

She rolled her eyes at me and hopped into the seat beside mine. We drove for about twenty minutes before reaching the street of boutiques lined up next to each other in the middle of the town.

It was kind of an unspoken rule of ours, that we only shop in boutiques. We walked into one of the boutiques and wandered separate ways to find dresses.

I stumbled on a few choices but none that really caught my eye. Les however had found a gorgeous blue and silver sequinned mini dress that fit her like a glove. We bought it immediately after she tried it on.

I couldn't find one in that store so we moved on to the next. I tried on dress after dress, not satisfied with any of them. Until finally Les pointed to a bunch of dresses in a pile. I pulled out a random one and went to try it on.

"Al, it's perfect." In truth she was right. It was a pale gold sequinned trapeze mini dress. Paired with some opaque pantyhose and a pair of black open-toed heels it'd be magnificent.

"I know, I'm going to get it." I said going back into the change rooms.

When we were done we decided to go for some lattés. We sat down at one of the tables sipping our coffee, when we saw my brother and Carter walk into the café.

"Hey Luke, what's up?" I asked as they take seats across from us. He shrugged

"So, what are we all doing tonight?" I asked knowingly.

Since the beginning, even before we were born, there was the annual movie night. It first started when our parents were teenagers, maybe even before that.

On the first night in the Hampton's, every summer we picked someone to host and watched a bunch of movies in our pyjamas.

Last summer we held it at Austin's place, so it was our turn to host. It wasn't only Carter, Leslie, Luca, Austin and I who participated in it. It was everyone in our inner circle which was about ten people, give or take. Including, Drake, Drew and Vi.

"Shut up, Allie, you know its movie night." Leslie said jokingly. I smirked back.

I looked out the window and sipped my coffee quietly. Twenty minutes passed with us holding light conversation when I heard Leslie gasp quietly. She attempted to cover it up with a cough.

But I knew better than that.

I turned around to see what she was staring at. To my surprise, I turned to witness Austin and a raven-haired girl kissing. Enthusiastically.

I gasped so loudly that I was sure he heard me, but I couldn't look in his direction any longer. I felt tears sting my eyes and I stood up and ran out of the café, creating a scene. I was soon joined by Luca, attempting to comfort me.

"Where are Leslie and Carter?" I asked, sniffling. He looked at me for a second before answering.

"They're inside having a good talk with Austin." He said the name disgustedly.

A talk with Carter meant Carter's fists in your face.

I quickly ran into the café to see Austin pinned onto one of the walls with a split lip and bruised jaw. I ran to them and hit Carter on the arm hard.

"Carter, let go!" I yelled.

"Guys, please stop it." I said, and then I saw the look in Carter's eyes, "please?" I tried. That calmed him down enough for me to pull him away from Austin.

"Allie, can I please explain?" He asked. I slapped him across his cheek, turning it a bright red.

"Yeah right, Austin. I don't want to hear anything from you. We're done," I said calmly. Although, I knew I was on the verge of crying.

"No, I love you Al. It's not over, it can't be." He said with certainty.

That made me want to cry even more. But I knew I had to put on a brave face. I was Alessandra Moretti after all.

I walked out of the store with Les by my side and my head held high while Carter and Luke walked behind me still glaring at Austin.

I cried all the way home.

"If he tries to show his face tonight, I'll kill him," Luke said turning to me.

"I told him, he could still come." I responded.

"Why the hell would you do that?" Luke asked.

I ignored everything he and Carter had to say until I heard Carter mumble something.

"She's too much of a damn dumbass to see right through him." He murmured.

I sat up from lying on Leslie's lap and glared.

"I would really appreciate it if you would hold off on being too much of an ass to me right now. I mean, if you can manage that much." I said climbing out of the car and walking into my house.

I headed straight to my bedroom and plunged on my bed crying softly. I fell asleep soon after, waking up a few hours later.

I had an hour to get ready for movie night. So I quickly began.

I walked to the bathroom to shower, but instead encountered a very wet Carter. I was just finishing removing my shirt, leaving me in a black-laced bra before him.

I stood their speechless as my eyes roamed from the towel riding low on his waist, to the intense stare of his green eyes, and everything in between.

I studied the water glistening off of his perfect abs and the way it dripped from his hair.

God, what was he doing to me, I asked myself seriously. I could see he was doing the same to me, his eyes lingering on my bra a little too long.

"I see you like what you see." He said starting to walk away.

I grabbed him by the wrist before he could get too far pulled him back to me. I caught his gaze once more before hitting him over the head.

"That's for checking me out, perv." I said waiting for him to leave.

I quickly undressed and went into the shower. After I was done I went back to my room to put on all of my for tonight essentials, my Chanel No.9 perfume, and my pyjamas.

My pyjamas consisted of a light pink silk night dress that reached my mid thigh just after my butt and a black chiffon robe, that was longer than my dress but sheer.

I was applying the final touches to my curled hair, adding a crystal headband, when I heard voices from downstairs.

I left quickly to see people already filing into our home theatre. I took the liberty of hiring a decorator to make sure it was perfect. There was a bed lining against the wall adjacent to the screen and the bar at the back. It could have easily and comfortable housed fifteen people. The bar was filled with a variety of different snacks and drinks.

I spotted Leslie wearing basically the same outfit but in baby blue and white. I walked into the theatre and took my seat next to her as she lied back into Carter. Luca was beside them with his girlfriend, Summer in his arms.

I looked around to see if Austin actually showed up. I spotted him by the door coming in the theatre and he was not alone.

The same raven-haired beauty was attached to his arm. I glared at him, very noticeably. He saw me staring and motioned to come over to him. He released the death grip off of his arm and motioned to me again.

I whispered to Leslie that I was going to the bathroom and got up and left the room to avoid suspicion, soon after Austin joined me.

"Allie, can we please talk?" He asked.

I stood, unresponsive with my arms crossed over my chest.

"Let me guess, she's your cousin from some backwoods part of Staten Island who's into incest." I said, half seriously.

He stared at me for a moment then laughed lightly.

"Your ability to make this situation comedic, astounds me Allie. But are we seriously going to end it over one kiss? It meant absolutely nothing to me Alessandra," He exclaimed. I looked at him disbelieving.

"If it meant nothing to you, why would you bring her to my house?" I asked.

I could not believe he was going with the 'it was nothing' excuse.

"She's a family friend from Connecticut, my parents want me to show her around the Hamptons. This is her first time here. When you saw her kissing me, she didn't know I had a girlfriend, and I was pulling away." He explained.

I didn't know if I believed him or not, but I wanted to. I really wanted to.

"Okay, listen, I am not in any way saying I believe you, but we can talk tomorrow," I whispered, looking up into his dark blue eyes.

He grinned ear to ear. I laughed at his goofy smile and smiled back at him.

He leaned in to peck me on the lips, and I didn't stop him. I welcomed his affection, I pulled away and smiled up at him.

"Don't flake on me, Alessandra, we can meet at my place for coffee," he instructed.

I nodded and pushed him into the theatre before me, I was about to follow but I was pulled into one of the supply closets next to the theatre, before I could.

"What the hell are you thinking? Why are you taking that asshole back?" An all too familiar voice asked me. I turn around to see Carter standing their looking absolutely furious.

"Why the hell do you care, Carter?" I asked, fuming myself.

I waited a few minutes without him talking before deciding to walk out. I didn't even touch the doorknob before he pulled me back.

"I care because you're Luca's little sister so I have to look out for you." He said slowly.

"No, usually you would sit back and laugh while Luke lectures me about it. There's something more." I concluded.

"I hate the guy, there's nothing more," Carter shrugged.

"Why? You guys have this pointless hatred going on, what happened?" I asked interested.

I wanted to finally get to the bottom of the stupid testosterone fest when they were around each other.

"You wouldn't understand, he's a jackass and he's not good for you, Al." He informed me.

"Don't tell me what's good for me, I decide that. Until you're ready to tell me what happened to make you hate my boyfriend so much, stay out of our business." I told him sternly.

I opened the closet door and walked back into the theatre just as the movie was starting. Sitting on Austin's lap I kissed him passionately. Somehow, it didn't feel like any of our other kisses, it didn't feel right. I figured it was because I was only doing it to piss Carter off.

"What was that for?" He whispered, panting heavily. I shrugged my shoulders and leaned back into him.

"Can't I kiss my boyfriend?" I asked smiling.

He smiled back and planted a chaste kiss on my lips. I nuzzled my head into his neck and started to kiss his jaw line until my lips met his mouth. He pulled away and kissed my cheek.

"Hi," I introduced myself to his family friend, "I'm Alessandra and if you ever put your lips on my boyfriend again, I'll make you such a social pariah not even your help would want to be anywhere near you." I smiled sweetly at her slightly ajar mouth.

I could feel Austin laugh quietly against the crook of my neck.

I made myself comfortable in between his legs, my back to his chest the rest of the time.

The whole time I kept thinking about how Austin's chest didn't fit me as right as Carter's did.
