Poems from Camp

I Shall Listen

As the river flows,

And the wind blows,

I Shall Listen to the dear song.

And when the birds chip,

They can sound so alert,

I Shall Listen though it may hurt me

When the crickets sing,

The sound is such a beautiful thing,

And I Shall Listen to the cries of hope

With all that happens,

You would think that the sons would flatten.

You are wrong, 'cause I Shall Listen with all my might.

Light Danes by

A breeze sings a lie

And then the room is full of silence

Then the trees whisper

One million secrets

And then everything is silence

But the best thing of all

Is that you can hear nothing of it all

And then you can hear something

With the roll of hills

Then the light ends at till

And then every thing is so peaceful

When the sun rises

The clouds put on their best ties

And then nothing can halt

Authors note: okay… The funniest thing happened today: I just now noticed all of y Taylor Lautner posters… LOL R&R please
