I remember how he used to,
Give me his coat when I was cold,
How he would laugh out loud
In the middle of the crowd
And when he would kiss me,
As we would wait for the train.
It didn't take long.
For me to realize that there was
A space between us
That just keeps on growing.
I should have seen it coming,
When he acted as if I was nothing.
Taking me captive with his kisses
He didn't even have to say a word.
How would I ever known he was with another girl?
And then I saw him,
Inches away from me, noticing the look on my face
It didn't take long for him to look away.
Then I realized that the guy I knew,
Was gone and now I don't know him.
He's a stranger,
A stranger that I thought loved me.
