Curse of the Vampires (the first novel) is a myriad of stories which need to be sorted out into one with the most prominent points squeezed out for the effectiveness of the incoming novels. Curse of the Vampires is about Mark's recovery from a long-coma state in a world where vampires are close to destroying the world. Mark, the marked-one, is sought out by the rebellious Wendy, who turns out to be the President's daughter. Also, since Mark's father captured the famous "Dracula" attempts at Mark's life are not restricted to his "political" enemies. Following a series of deaths, a detective Arthur Lacroise, follows an investigation with his detective wife Karla. During some event, a party of some sort, perhaps the celebration of Mark's surviving the coma, Dracula and his fiends come to a "stand-off" versus Mark and his friends and along the lines they encounter Arthur's whose help against the vampires is invaluable but, alas, Karla's entanglement with Dracula ends her life, sending Arthur on a personal vendetta of vengeance against Mark's whole crew after Dracula and the vampires are wiped out. This is done through a "trick". Since Dracula's essence is the key to all vampire's lives, Mark's crew of specialist, during his capture, take out his essence without Dracula's notice (Dracula being too busy with plans of his own against Mark), and put it on another harder-to-kill but human target. In the middle of everything is the stand-off with the witches. Arthur's sister (the witch who attains Dracula's essence without knowing it) is ruling the world with her sinister magic for her own gains, killing the right and wrong people for the president for a price. Teresa, Mark's witch, entangles herself with figuring out a way to stop her but the other, Larissa, has stronger more ancient magic. (Larissa's death is attributed to an ironic twist). Dracula pays her for a job and she betrays him, so Dracula's own personal vendetta ends up costing him his vampire powers as he sets out and achieves his goal of destroying the powerful Larissa. In the middle of all this, Mark and Wendy, fall in love or come to like each other intimately. After, some unresolved issue reveals the truth about Mark's past and how to rid himself of the tri-curse placed on him from birth by an evil sect of witches from the past.

Curse of the Vampires,
Curse of the Bladerunners
During the events of Bladerunners, a group known as the Legendary Heroes rise from their graves to defeat the Bladerunners. Mark's sees this as a minor problem compared to the problem created by his second curse( the first curse was his incurable disease), which is a series of events for the whole world in which every case of Murphy's law applies. If anything can go wrong, it does. With this event of Ill-fated-luck going on in the world, the Legendary Heroes, a group of undead biker-gods sent to earth to destroy the newly-born Bladerunners, start causing more damage in repairing the situation than is needed. In fact, after finding out that their stay in the real world is caused by the tendency of Bladerunner's to stay alive, they decide to incapacitate but not kill one, so they could continue living as God's in a cursed world. However, the deductive Mark does eventually come across a solution to his problems but in a slow and painful way. During which time his and Wendy's relationship which was blooming is seen as more distant. At the same time, Arthur Lacroise plots out a scheme to take revenge against Mark and his crew for their carelessness in the previous fight against Dracula. Arthur sets the mood for the closing chapter of the tri-curse in which Mark Piersley and Arthur Lacroise confront each other in a "battle of the ages" scenario (lots of rain, people making faces).
And Curse of the Witches
In curse of the witches, a witch and her sister, reveal their plot to destroy the world by attempting to throw Mark off a bridge. The main problem is that now Mark's life is threatened by thing most people use to sustain it: water. The witches awaken the third phase of the curse in which water becomes unstable near Mark, causing faucets to leak away from him in his presence or shower water to rip from their pipes as they attempt to escape the unfortunate Mark. It's a race against time as Mark is soon set-off on a wild chase to find a solution to the problem while at the same time, his crew is fighting off a horde of politicians set against them for previous violations as well as angry Arthur, whose plot for revenge is more sinister than they imagined. Basically, he's trying to gather more than one official under his cause and he gets the president to go under his assassination plot, leaving Wendy in the middle of a tricky situation, to be loyal to her father or save Mark Piersley. In this "final chapter" Mark jumps off a cliff to save the world and disappears from sight. His body is never found but then again, neither is Lacrois's. Could this be the end of the curses, the Piersleys and the Lacroises?
