Marie smiled as she walked in.
They didn't say anything the just walked in to where they were standing in front of us.
"Um... Hey?" Peter asked when they didn't say anything.
"Well, kids." Jack said. We all continued staring at them.
"We have something to tell you." Marie said...

"Well, What is it?!" Claire asked excitedly. Marie sighed a sigh of excitement.
"I'm pregnant!" she exclaimed. We all gasped sharply.
"No way?!" I was the first to sqeaul. I ran over and hugged her.
"Oh my gosh!" Jade yelled. She pushed me out of the way to hug Marie. Claire wasn't far behind to hug Marie. I can't believe it! We're going to have a baby brother or sister! This was so amazing, I couldn't wait!
"Congratulations!" James whooped.
"This is so exciting! Oh my gosh!" Claire said, she was hugging Jack around the waist while jumping up and down. So that's the huge secret she was keeping! I can now see why she wanted to surprise us!
"This is going to be so much fun! We'll have a little baby running around!" Jade said with a smile.
I thought for a moment, then asked, "Wait, I thought you were infernal?"
Jack nodded and said, "She is. It's a miracle!"
That was very true! A miracle... The miracle baby.
"Wow." Peter said, his expression was thoughtful.
"Jack and I are going to the doctor's tomorrow." Maire said. She was beaming. I've never in my lifetime with the Johnson's seen either of them so happy. I mean they weren't depressing people, they were normal, happy-go-lucky. But now they were just estatic looking. Jack gave a loving glance at Marie.
"Dear, you should go get some rest. We have to get up a little early for the doctor's appointment." he said. Marie nodded.
"I suppose so." she said.
"Goodnight." she said to all of us with a smile.
"Goodnight!" we all called in unision. Marie and Jack walked up the stairs chattering excitedly about the new life that would be arriving soon. I looked around at everybody. They were all smiling.
"Oh my goodness." I muttered. Everyone laughed.
"This is so exciting! That's going to be the cutest little baby in the whole entire world!" Jade said.
Damon added, "Not to mention the most loved."
"Between Jack, Marie, and the rest of us, that baby is going to be the most spoiled living thing in history." I said in agreement with Damon.
Soon after that we all went our seperate ways, Peter and Jade went off to their room, Claire and Damon stayed downstairs to watch a movie, and I walked into my room. I sighed. I was standing at the end of my bed deciding what to do. Then all the sudden I felt arms wrap around me from behind. I turned around and James was there.
"Hi." I said with a smile.
"Hello." he said.
"Can you believe this?" I asked. He shook his head.
"Like Jack said, it's a complete miracle." he said. I nodded.
I could here just down the hall, Jade and Peter talking. Jade was saying that she couldn't wait for the baby to arrive, and how she wishes she had one of her own. You see, we can't have children. Since our bodies are never aging, and our growth system stopped, so did everything else. As in our menstrual cycle, which was sad. We could never be proud parents.
Jade always said she wished she could have six kids, and lucky for Peter she can't. They thought about adopting a child, but that was ruled out. Our lives were too hectic to worry about a child anyway. I couldn't say the same for Marie though, I knew that her whole life, and mind-set would now revolve around the new little one. Well either way, it was about to get busy.
The next day I awoke to my alarm clock buzzing. Ugh, I did not want to get up. I walked over to my window and pulled open the curtains. Jack and Marie were already gone for her doctor's appointment. I got ready for school groggily. I walked out the door just in time for the bus to pull up. Claire wasn't far behind me, dragging Damon behind her.
"Um, what's Damon doing?" I asked. Damon didn't go to school.
"He's coming to school!" she chimed. I glanced at him he had the look of, "I don't want to be here."
"How much did she pay you?" I asked. He smiled a little.
"Yeah, I wish she would've." he said. I sat down by the window. James sat beside me.
"Good morning." he said with a smile. A beautiful, heart-melting smile.
"Morning." I said. Claire poked her head between James and I's heads.
"So, what do you think, boy or girl?" she asked.
"I don't know, Marie will probably not care." I said. James nodded.
"She told me this morning, she didn't care, she just wanted it to be healthy." Jade said. She turned to look at us. Her and Peter were sitting in front of us.
"I hope it's a boy." Peter said.
And why is that?" I asked.
"Well, she would spoil a little girl to no end, and she would be bratty." he said. Claire laughed.
"Well, that's sexest." she said. Jade and I nodded in agreement.
"A boy can be a brat too, I mean, look at you Peter." Claire said. We all snickered. Peter glared at her. Claire smiled with innocence. I smiled. I was so glad everything terrible that had been happening calmed down. We could all be a family. And finally we could have a little baby to spoil! By the time the baby is going to be born, all of us will be graduating High-School. I could not wait to graduate, everything was falling into place for everyone. I sighed, you never realize how much you love the people around you until you get caught up in the miracle of the moment.
