I am Emalia (E-Mal-E-Uh) Taylor and I'm sixteen years old, I live with my parents and my older brother Ethan. I'm a bit of a bookworm, my brother is Mr. Popularity and I'm the shy bookworm who has a few selective friends who she rocks out with in her garage on Saturdays with. I also have a bit of a temper when pushed to my limit I can completely snap without thinking. My band mates are Giovanni Nunez (Guitar), Lauren Miller (Guitar), Janele Simpson (Lead Singer) and I play drums and sometimes sing lead. My bestfriends are Giovanni Nunez and Sydney Leons.
It's a Wednesday and I'm heading to lunch, I sit with my brother, his friends, and Gio.
"Hey dude." I said as I sat down next to Gio.
"Hey." He responded.
"Mystery meat for lunch again?" He asked me.
"Yep as always." I roll my eyes.
"That guy over there has been staring at you since you sat down." Gio said.
I looked over to where Gio gestured and I saw Carter Montgomery, whose qualities consist of being, Mr. popular, our schools soccer extraordinaire, and arrogant jackass. Why is he staring and me and why the hell isn't he looking away now that he sees me looking back, shit for some reason I can't look away.
"Uh HELLO EARTH TO MALY!" Gio said breaking me out of my daze.
"Oh um sorry, He's fucking weird." I said Blushing.
"Yeah sure, damnit I wish this fucking lunch period would end already."
"So ready to get away from me?" I joked.
"Nope but I can't wait until our practice tonight."
"Yeah I can't wait either but I don't think Janele is going to be able to make it today because she has soccer practice so I'm going to have to do vocals today."
"I hate soccer season, we lose our little Janeleeee." He dragged the e.
"Yeah well oh well."
"You're really sarcastic Maly."
"You love me though." I kissed his cheek right as the bell for fifth period rung.
…later after school I decided to go out to the bleachers and read, since no one was out there.
So I'm sitting just about to turn the part in The Notebook where Noah and Ali get into the big fight and break up when all of a sudden I get hit VERY HARD in the head with a soccer ball, I look down at the culprit, its Carter and he's laughing his ass off.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM?"I yelled running down the bleachers and marching up to Carter. I am a bit of a klutz so I'm surprised I didn't fall on my ass.
"Uh sorry I didn't mean to." He said shocked at my outburst.
"Oh yeah right dude your so full of shit."
"Look sorry that I hit you but who the hell sits on the bleachers and reads?"
"I do you prick." I said poking him in the chest.
"You're brother is Ethan right."
"Yeah why does that matter?"
"Look I understand that your upset that you're a nerd and you brother is like Mr. Cool or whatever but don't take your frustrations out on me." He sighed. Was this guy for real?
"Are you serious? Haha oh wow you know what good luck with your mental retardation." I walked away ignoring him.
God this guy is a dick.

AN: to all of broken lies readers! Hey guys I know your waiting on me to update Indian summer and trust me I will be updating that like Wednesday or Thursday but I want to talk to you guys about this story! Alright well me and my best friend silent-CRYS- are doing this collaboration story where I'll write one chapter and she'll write the next and I we won't read each others chapters until the next one is posted so yeah… Haha well she is an awesome writer and I'm not too shabby so please give this a chance its going to be really great and I know this chap is short but its just the beginning.
