Rejection doesn't mean failure
I live my life as a reject
The hardest punishment I can face
I'm always the object
Of scorn, loneliness and shame.
No one's ever there,
When I need comfort or help.
I am never spared.
I'm a miserable whelp.
People discard me,
Like some broken thing.
But people will see me,
When I get up there and sing.
Even though I'm rejected
In the eye of society.
I can grow strong unaffected.
Cause frankly,
I don't care.
The world can see me as
Anything they want.
They won't accept me as
They won't and can't.
But they can't hurt me.
With their words of discouragement.
They can't stop me.
That's not gonna happen.
You see.
Living this life as a reject,
Doesn't mean I can't succeed.
As a matter of fact,
I can beat the world and leave.
Victorious,
Head up high,
And successful.
The world has not seen me,
In my full glory,
But soon they will see,
That they were wrong to reject me.
