Terence, you were right

Terence was right all along.
Never before have I heard
better thoughts
from a better man.

I know what he was saying;
I was listening the whole time.
He spoke truth, that night—
that night,
in the bar,
I listened,
and I heard.

He spouted reality
from those lips;
and we are brothers, now.
Because we are the same.
Two grains in a pod.
And together we make
Verse and good times.

And I prefer none other
than his company.
Great times with
words and nectar
is all I need.
Nothing is amiss, now;
we are the best of friends.

I don't know
what his friend was talking about;
Terence had the right idea
all along.
