I frowned as the sluttish girl draped herself shamelessly over Jay. He smiled at her.

My frown deepened and I grimaced. "Bitch," I muttered, glaring at the both of them.

"What was that?" He asked absentmindedly, only glancing at me for a short while before turning his attention back to that...that...thing.

"You need to tell him," My friend, Charlotte, interrupted.

"Tell him what?" I asked innocently.

She sighed, and said in a 'duh' tone: "That you like him, you idiot. That you, heh, lurve him." She grinned, mischief glinting in her eyes.

I rolled my eyes. "Who even uses that word these days? You weirdo!" I scoffed, quickly changing the subject.

She stared at me, a serious expression on her face. "If you don't tell him, then I will," Charlotte chirped, starting to skip over to them.

I grabbed her arm, giving her a warning look. "No," I told her. "I'll do it."

I walked over, my confidence dwindling the closer I got to the love sick couple.

"Jay," I said, avoiding to look at the girl sitting on his lap, running her hands through his hair carelessly.

Slut, I thought bitterly. I forced out a fake, happy-go-lucky smile. "We need to talk," I told him determinedly, yanking him away from the 'thing'.

He glared at me. "What was that for?!" He demanded, a furious expression on.

I automatically flinched and his expression softened slightly.

"What do you need to talk to me about?"

I looked off to the side, it's now or never. "I-I um, Iloveyouokay?" I gushed, blushing beet red.

He frowned in confusion, brushing black bangs out of emerald green eyes. "I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Jay, honey!" The high pitched, honey sweet voice called out.

"Trisha's calling me," he murmured, "we can talk later."

I scowled, grabbing the edge of his black hoodie. I was going to do this.

I looked down, avoiding looking at his face. "Look," I said softly. "I love you," I muttered, letting go.

He looked at me incredulously, a dumbfounded expression on his face.

"Hey, it's okay, though. I understand if you don-" I was cut off, feeling the soft pressure of his lips against mine.

I shyly kissed back, not quite knowing what to do.

He pulled back, looking at me affectionately.

"I love you too," he whispered, hugging me.

"Jay?!" The bitch screeched, looking at us with wide eyes.

He turned around, smiled charmingly and flipped her the bird. "Sorry sweet cakes, but I never really gave a shit about you in the first place."

I poked my tongue out at her shocked expression. "He's mine now, bitch. Learn to deal with it." I grinned.

Mine.
