She sang till night-ends. Her last song was called Night's Rose because it resembled her so well.
"It's the night roseDon't leave her alone
Blackness surrounding her…
Night rose
Sing along with me
Forever it will be
You and me…" is how the story went for her. She was never left alone because she was afraid. She wrote these lyrics herself when her father died. He overdosed.
"And when theNight rose
Snatched him away from her
Her mother cried and pleaded
But death does what it wants to do,
As she found out soon…
'Cause she is the night rose
Don't leave her alone.
She's too afraid to see.
That in the darkness
There is always light.
That surrounds your way of life." And she felt alone. Her mother was never there after that. Night was "she" "her" and "Night Rose" is death.
"And she cries all alone at nightAs I told you once before
Never leave that girl alone.
Because she is too afraid to see.
That darkness brings
Hope sometimes
And it isn't always gray.
So the Night rose don't
Bother her.
Not anymore…" and the song ended. The concert ended. Her life was shattered and that song showed it in a not obvious way because it was her only way to express it. Though it maybe hard, she tried. She tried very hard, too.
The crowd cheered for her. She looked out of the bright lights and saw someone pass by, looking bored.
"By New York! Nice to see you guys again! Wish us luck 'cause we are goin' to Jersey!" she yelled out. She exited the stage by a trap door. She went to her dressing room and cried, for that one person wasn't impressed, and they obviously didn't know her story. They just couldn't. Or else they wouldn't have looked so bored…would they?
