Once upon a time. . .
Whoa whoa whoa, stop, back up, none a that! Come on, you of all people should know that that is WAY over used. Well if YOU aren't going to come up with something original, then I will.
Ahem, so our story is about a young penguin whose name was Molly. Her best friend, for some unknown reason, was a walrus named Toothy. This story actually begins on a nice day in Antarctica, when our two friends decided to take a stroll around.
"So Toothy, where do ya wanna go today?" Toothy, thought Molly's question over in his mind as they walked around aimlessly.
"Well, I heard there was this really big ice berg that is stuck over yonder, so why don't we go and climb on it?" said Toothy as he motioned towards the large ice hill that was only a few yard away.
"Hum" Molly weighed on her options, wander around aimlessly, or climb on an ice berg? "Let go, sounds fun!" Molly started to speed waddle and Toothy did what walruses do, a hop and crawl motion.
"Come on slow poke!" Called Toothy, who had gained the lead in their little race to the ice berg.
"HAY, I HAVE STUBBY LEGS, SO DON'T RUSH ME!" Molly screamed.
"What are you complaining about; I don't have legs at all" Toothy said
through his laughs.
As Molly finally made it to the ice berg, Toothy said "Hay come look over here, there is a fish frozen in the ice"
Molly waddled over to the walrus and looked at the block of ice he had in front of him. "Huh, your right, oh I think something is carved in the ice, I think is says. . . umm Nigel Finly"
"That's a funny name, I thi. . ." Toothy was cut off by a loud bang, it sounded like lightning, but it came from under the ice.
"What was that?!" Cried Molly, her question was answered when a large crack started to form, then the ground started to rumble and move away from the land. The ice berg had broken off. Dun dun daaa!
"Oh no!" Toothy cried as they slowly drifted away from the land.
"Why don't you swim back and get help?" Asked Molly.
"B because I . . . I CAN'T SWIM!"
"WHAT, YOU'RE A WALRUS, YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM!"
"WELL YOU'RE A PENGUIN, WHY CAN'Y YOU SWIM BACK AND GET HELP!"
"BECAUSE, I AM SCARED OF WATER!"
"WHAT HOW CAN YOU BE SCARED OF WATER, YOU'RE A PENGUIN!" as their fight got more heated, they drifted farther away from the shore.
*later that day*
Toothy was sitting on the edge of the ice berg, looking out into the open water.
As Toothy looked out at the ocean, he noticed a can floating in the water, getting closer to them. "OI, MOLLY COME HERE I THINK I FOUND SOMETHIN"
"OK, I'm coming; don't get your knickers in a twist" Molly cried from across the ice. When she made it over to Toothy the can was close enough to read what it said. "I think it says, 'beans, with a maple sauce' what's that gunna d. . . I HAVE AN IDEA!"
"What is it?"
"Grab the can Toothy and eat what's inside, were gunna toot our way back home" Molly replied.
When Toothy was done eating the bean, he did what Molly told him to, go to the other end of the berg and let the beans do their thing. As the ice berg began to move forward, Molly remembered the fish. "Wait, Toothy, why don't we save the fish"
"OK, but where do we go?" Molly thought about Toothy's question for a few minuets and got another idea.
"Let's go to the desert" suggested Molly
"OK, let's go!" Toothy cried. Toothy went to the other side on the ice berg and started tooting, the ice berg lurched forwards and their adventure started.
"Hoi, I see land!" called Molly from the top of the ice berg. "Just a little farther, you can do it Toothy!"
"Ay ay captain" Toothy tooted a few more times and they hit land.
"Sweet, we did it!" Toothy and Molly sang in unison. Molly lugged the block of ice off the ice berg and through it onto the hot sand.
"Well time to wait" Said Molly as she sat down on the sand and waited. . . .
*two hours later*
"Look the ice is almost gone" Cried Toothy. As the last of the ice melted there was a poof of smoke and the fish was free.
"Why hello lo lo, I am the genie fish, you have released me from the ice, so I am in your debt, I will grant each of you 3 rule free wishes" Said the fish. "My name is Nigel finly, and your wish is my command"
Toothy was the first to speak "I wish for unlimited wishes" with a swish of his fin, Nigel granted his wish. "I wish I wasn't here" Toothy wished and with a swish of his fin, the fish granted his wish. Not knowing that you must be specific in your wish, he disappeared out of existence.
Mortified by her friend's disappearance, Molly wished for him to return. And with another swish of his fin, her wish was granted, Toothy popped back and they went back to Antarctica, leaving the fish behind.
THE END
Well, not really the end, the fish became thirsty due to the fact that he was a fish and there was no water.
THE REAL END.
