A/N: Okay everyone I'm sorry that its been 5 years... So much has happened in my life and I'm really excited to be back at it. Love you all!

Three days had passed since the cold night in my car with Adam.

My phone lit up and buzzed across my bedroom floor where I sat with my head in my hands. I glanced at it quickly seeing Adam's name but I simply ignored it like I did every other time he called.

I was not a master at avoiding people and I didn't want to see him, especially at school. Ali questioned me a couple of times when I turned down a hallway that was in the wrong direction but I just replied with stupid responses like 'I felt like it' or 'I thought it would be fun going a different way'.

A moment later, my phone buzzed again, but this time I stared at it for a moment thinking about what I would say. I had been ignoring him because I was confused about the whole situation. I felt like I needed him every time I kissed him... but at the same time I had feelings for Ali.

Taking a deep breath to calm myself, I answered the phone.

"You sure are persistent Adam."

"Oh my God, you actually picked up," he replied, sounding very surprised.

"Well I had to do something to get you to stop calling," I said crossing my legs, picking at a dark spot on my floor.

"Do you not want to talk to me then?" I could hear the sadness in his voice.

"I do..." I paused.

"Why have you been ignoring me then?" Adam asked, the sadness sounding more angry.

I closed my eyes, leaning back against the wall. There was a long pause. I could hear Adams breathing as he waited for my reply but after a minute he spoke again. "Cale, please..." the sadness in his voice made me squeeze my eyes tighter.

I looked at the clock on my nightstand indicating the time as 8:32 PM.

"Meet me at the school in half an hour," I said before hanging up the phone.

My phone buzzed in my hand with a text from Adam. 'Okay'.

It was 8:56 when I drove into the school parking lot. I parked my car, removed the key, and got out. The night was dark and silent - I looked across the snowy field and back at the school which sat empty.

Then I made my way around to the front of the school - the snow crunching beneath my feet was the only thing to break the silence.

I found Adam sitting on the front steps and I watched as he looked up when he heard my footsteps.

"Cale!" He sounded excited as he pushed himself up and jogged over to me.

"Wait," I said, putting my hand up to stop him when he reached me. I looked into his dark eyes and the confused expression on his face. "I need to talk and you need to listen."

Adam raised an eyebrow and looked at me, puzzled. "Okay... then talk."

I bit my lip, thinking about what to say next, really wishing I had more time to think but I'd already dragged him all the way to meet me. "I don't know..." I sighed.

"What the hell is going on Cale?"

"I don't think I can do this anymore," I said waving my hand between the two of us.

"What do you mean?" I could see his eyes narrow.

"After the other night, I can't do this anymore," I said, taking my eyes off his face and trying to focus on something else. "I got caught up in the moment and didn't realize we did that in front of my girlfriend's house... your house..."

"Cale," I heard him say as he reached out and grab my hand which felt like ice compared to his. I wanted to yank my hand away but the warmth was nice and deep down I didn't want to say any of these things to him. "Cale, please just look at me because what happened wasn't a mistake and I know you should be with me."

I looked up into his dark eyes again and a smile started to spread across his lips. "Adam, I'm sorry I should go..." I said. But before I could take my hand out of his, he gripped it tighter and pulled me close, finding my lips with his. The kiss was soft and light, and just as fast as it happened, it was over. Adam pulled away but held me close.

"Please don't go... you're not thinking this through."

My head was spinning from the sudden kiss, then I didn't know what I was doing as I gripped the sleeves of his jacket roughly and locked our lips together again.

Adam groaned quietly, accepting the kiss as his tongue hungrily pushed past my lips - deepening it. I felt as if I'd melt into a puddle. The cold air around me suddenly felt hot while Adam pulled me closer. I broke away and we both breathed heavily for a moment.

"Dammit Adam!" I panted, catching my breath.

"I'm sorry… what were you saying?" Adam asked with a devilish smile on his face.

I smiled and shook my head slowly. "A kiss won't change things."

"Well that was two... and that second kiss was all you."

"Adam, I'm still dating Ali..."

I watched as the smile faded from his face. "Then end it with her," he said bluntly, releasing me and letting his arms fall to his sides. "You seem to want me much more than her anyways."

"But it's so much more complicated than that," I said looking down. "I am happy with you, but I can't hurt her like that... and what if she found out it was you who I decided I wanted to be with."

"So you want to be with me but you can't hurt her…? What the fuck Cale!" Adam snapped, turning away.

"Adam, wait!" I called, reaching out to grab his arm. But Adam spun around so fast it startled me.

"What, Cale!? What do you want?" he asked raising his voice. "I clearly want to be with you. I have told you that, but you're being way too wishy-washy. I wish you could just make up your mind already."

"I… I'm sorry..." I let my hand drop and I paused looking at the ground.

"I hope you know that I'll fight for you." I just barely heard Adam say. My gaze shot up to find him watching me intently. He took a couple step towards me and touched my cheek gently. "I want to fight for you and I know I will win."

With my eyes locked on his, he took a couple more steps forward - forcing me backwards until my back hit the stone wall of the school.

"How are you so much better at this than I am?" I asked, feeling my body temperature rising as Adam got closer.

"Because I know what I want," he whispered before slowly kissing the outer rim of my ear; the sensation of goosebumps washed over my body.

I closed my eyes, lost in the moment of Adam's soft kisses and warmth as his lips trailed down my neck.

"Hey… Cale, your phone is going crazy."

I snapped back to reality at the sound of Adam's voice followed by the loud ringing of my phone. I quickly pulled it out and saw Ali's picture lighting up the screen.

"Oh my God, can't she just leave us alone!?" Adam asked loudly in a disgusted tone.

"Shhh, Adam" I said, placing my hand over his mouth to silence him and stepping away from the wall. "Hey Ali."

"Hey Sweetie" she said in a cheerful tone. "Are you busy at the moment?" she asked.

Adam moved my hand. "Tell her you are," he instructed in a hushed voice.

I quickly put my hand over the mouthpiece. "Stop it," I mouthed, turning my back on him to return to the call. "No, not really, what's up?" I could feel Adam's glare on my back as he watched me.

"Could you come pick up me and Sheila from the movie theater? Pretty please?" she asked.

"I didn't realize how cold it was going to get tonight."

"Yeah, sure, I shouldn't be too long."

"Okay, we'll be waiting inside."

"Ah!..." Cold hands suddenly forced their way up my back causing me to jump.

"Cale?"

"Sorry... I just dropped something. See you soon," I said, hanging up the phone quickly. "Fuck, Adam... what the hell was that?" I asked, turning towards him angry.

"You deserved it," He advised, then looked at me, annoyed.

"What do you mean, I deserved it?" I questioned.

"I wanted to rip that fucking phone out of your hand so badly," he snapped, "but I'd rather not wreck any chance I have with you."

I watched Adam turn away from me and I stared at his back before looking down at my phone. Without really thinking, I picked the number and hit send.

"Hey sweetie, what's up?" Ali's cheerful voice sounded over the phone.

"Hey..." I paused, seeing Adam stop his slow walk away from me. "I'm sorry, but something came up so I won't be able to pick you up for a while, at least."

"O-okay... we can find another way home then..." I could tell Ali wasn't very happy.

"Sorry Ali, I'll see you at school tomorrow okay?"

"Yeah I'll be there. Have a good night. I love you."

"You too, bye."

By the time I had my phone back in my pocket, Adam closed the distance between us again. Before I could say anything his hands held my face and his lips found mine roughly.

My eyes shot open - surprised by the kiss - but I slowly let them close, moaning softly... feeling Adam's tongue slip past my lips.

Finding the wall against my back once again, Adam pushed into the wet kiss - his hands moving down to my neck. Mine found their way onto his hips, pushing his jacket up and feeling his warm skin underneath.

"Oh my God," Adam breathed against my lips, attacking my neck with soft kisses. "I'm happy you decided to stay," he whispered between each one.

"Hmmm… so am I..." I let my head fall back, exposing more of my neck to him as I manoeuvred my fingers around the waistline of his jeans.

I groaned, feeling Adam's teeth run across the soft skin under my ear. "Nnnnn...Adam, don't..."

"But I want to so bad," he whispered, taking my earlobe between his teeth. "I want everyone to see." I could feel his evil smile against my skin.

I opened my eyes to see the devilish grin on his lips before he brought them to mine again for another passionate kiss. Moaning against him, I slipped my hands under the denim to Adam's backside, giving his butt a light squeeze and pulling him even closer.

He groaned and pushed me into the wall, grinding his hips into mine.

"Fuck, I love your hands back there," he said briefly before catching my lips once more. Still grinding his hips into mine, I felt the heat between us growing by the second. His hands slip in-between us as he slowly unzipped my jacket."Cale..." Adam's voice trailed off as he left open-mouthed kisses along my jaw while his hands pushed my shirt up.

A strange sensation suddenly snapped me back to reality. "Hey, Adam..."

"Hmm..." he grunted in a sort of reply as his hands expertly released the pressure of my pants by slowly undoing them.

"Your pants are vibrating."

He stops and looks up at me, confused. "What?"

"Your pants are vibrating" I laughed, taking the phone from his back pocket to see the word Mom lit up on the screen.

"Oh shit," he said, taking the phone from me without moving an inch away. He sighed and pushed the button. "Mom."

I watched him closely while his mom talked for what seemed like forever before Adam spoke again.

"But mom, I'm kinda busy." His eyes locked onto mine. "Fine..." he rolled them and looked away again. "Fine, whatever, I'll come home… Bye. Fuck..." he groaned, frustrated, leaning his forehead on my shoulder as if defeated.

"Adam?" I moved my shoulder, nudging him and willing him to look hand found its way into his hair as we stood there for a few minutes.

"I have an idea," Adam said suddenly, springing into action kissing me softly. "Come home with me."

I stared at Adam for a moment, confused. "What?"

"My stupid sister doesn't know what a bus is and needs my mom to pick her up from the theater... So you should come home with me."

"Again I have to ask... what?" I laughed, watching him curiously.

"No, really, come over. We'll have at least half an hour."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, dead serious." Adam smiled and grabbed my hand, leading me towards the parking lot.

"But..."

"But nothing. It'll be fine. You can park around the corner and come in the front door while my mom goes out the back."

"You make it sound like you've done this before," I questioned him as we rounded the corner to see my car sitting alone.

I saw him shrug. "Maybe," Adam laughed.

I was silent, thinking about who else he could have snuck into this room. When we finally stopped, I snapped out of my thoughts and noticed that we had reached my car. Adam let go of my hand and walked around to the passenger side before looking up at me.

"What's up?" he asked looking a little concerned.

I shook my head and walked around to the driver side. "Nothing," I said trying to smile before ducking down into the car, still thinking about who else he had snuck into his room and the reason for those times.

Sliding into the car Adam continued watching me. "Are you nervous?" he asked, grabbing for his seat belt.

"Maybe," I replied, fastening my own seat belt.
