The Morose Prince of Denmark
By Scott Sutter
Robbed of a crown by an uncle so dear,
And commanded to unseat him to die.
Fight hamlet! Fight this madness you wear!
Drive now away your true friends and ally!
Oh morose prince of Denmark, Disinherited one,
Think not of the blade as your liberation,
Or as a tool of vengeance that you run
Through he that receives your mothers affection.
But low, low and lament to your lover.
Who is but a pawn in her father's game
Like your mother to your father's brother.
Curses! For frailty, woman is thy name!
The poisonous deeds hath lead to the blow,
That poison hath dealt to prince of below!
