Pirate's Treasure

Sapphire diamonds fall down your face

In a waterfall rainbow spray

As spider webs frame your eyes like lace

In a copper golden ray.

And a porcelain mask is shattered

To reveal a silken underlay

Whilst fragile hands are battered

Into a 5 gold carrot display

You're a jewel in every sense of the word

A treasure beyond compare

But a terrible price must be incurred

To gain that platinum stare.

So I hide you from the cruel cold world

Put you back in your pirates chest

Touch one last time hair satin curled

Because you always knew me best

And nothing can touch you or have you now

Nothing can sully your form

I'll leave you to have your one last bow

And know my precious will no longer perform
