15Title: Guardians(until I change it obviously)
Summary: Scarlett is killed in a car accident and her soul is sent to Angel City where she is to learn how to be someone's guardian. Also to protect their charges from an unseen evil. Angel City is wonderful. It's designed to look exactly like a city on earth except that it's always day there. Angel City is where she meets Zaden. He may be quiet, but he's basically the best warrior there. But for some reason she can't understand, he hates her. Was it something she did? Or something that he did...? Whatever it was it still didn't stop them from falling in love. Which, by the way is totally forbidden. You know, kind of like sin.
Prologue
I never thought I would die today. I mean, there's no way I could have known. I didn't know that I would spend my last minutes drunk in a car with my friends on our way home from a party. I never imagined that the last time I would ever see my parents would be when I told them I that I was going to the library instead. I never thought that when I kissed my baby sister goodnight, that she would remember it as goodbye for the rest of her life.
Everything felt absolutely fine before it happened.
Jackson was supposed to be our designated driver. You know, the one who was supposed to get everybody home safe if we had a little too much fruit punch; looks like he had a few glasses himself. I mean, how else would you explain the red lips and the ditzy attitude?
Serena blasting the car stereo didn't help much either. My head was totally pounding; I really didn't want to hear whatever crap that she was yelling along to.
I don't blame them though.
I was in the back seat when the car swerved into our lane and I'm not gonna say that my life flashed before my eyes like in the movies, but the moment the headlights shone through my window I saw…him. And I knew I was in heaven or close to it anyways.
Okay this is only the prologue, but puhleeeease review if you want me to continue.
