Chapter 7
When Tina woke up the next morning, she was alone. She looked around and saw that she was the only one in the bed. She fell against her pillow with a sigh.
"Just another dream." She whispered.
She closed her eyes and tried to stop the tears form falling.
Kath walked into the room, wearing her shirt and shorts she had picked out yesterday. She walked over to the bed, sat next to Tina and leaned down to kiss her.
"Morning."
Tina's eyes flew open; what she saw made her cover her mouth and break down crying. Kath was smiling down at her. She pulled her into her lap and stroked her hair, trying to comfort the distraught woman. Tina's body shook with the heart wrenching sobs. She grabbed fist falls of Kathryn's shirt and pulled herself closer, trying to calm down.
After a few minutes, Tina stopped her crying, but didn't release her grip on Kath's shirt.
Kathryn looked down at her and kissed her lovingly on the head. "Are you ok, love?" Tina nodded but didn't say anything. "Why were you crying?"
Tina looked up at Kath shyly. "I thought it was another dream." She said softly and hid her face in Kath's neck.
Kathryn pulled back. "Why Miss Redbird, I never imagined you having such dreams about me. I'm flattered." She said flirtatiously.
Tina looked at her. "You'd be surprised at what I've dreamed about." She said seductively.
Kath arched her eyebrow at this. "And, what would these dreams be about?" She asked huskily.
Tina leaned in close so her cheek was resting on hers and whispered in her ear. "Wouldn't you like to know." She said and kissed down Kathryn's jaw.
Kath moaned and turned her head so to the side, giving Tina better access. Tina kissed her way up her jaw and down her neck, making her gasp when she kissed just above her collarbone. She pulled back and looked at Kath; she had her eyes closed and her mouth slightly open. She leaned in again and kissed her fall on.
Kathryn gasped as she felt Tina's soft lips on her own. Tina took advantage of the gasp and thrust her tongue inside of her mouth. She eagerly returned the kiss and slowly lowered Tina on to her back, without breaking the kiss. She ran her hands up her ribcage and behind her back.
Tina let go of Kath's shirt, winding her hands behind her back, her right hand tangling in Kath's hair, while she ran her left hand down her back and down to her knee, then back up again, causing goose bumps to appear. But no one noticed, as they were too wrapped up in each other.
Kath broke the kiss and kissed her way down the middle of her neck, to the edge of the neckline of the shirt. She moaned and let her head fall backwards, making it for her. Kath slid her hands under Tina's shirt; the skin was so smooth and warm to touch. Tina moved her hands to the waist band of Kathryn's shorts.
Kathryn moved back to kiss her, but stopped halfway. Tina looked at her questioningly.
"Can you hear that?" Kath asked, looking down at her.
She listened for a second and lost all color in her face.
"Tina, what is it?"
"It's my sister. I forgot to tell you she was coming over today."
"So that's who you were on the phone to."
Tina nodded. "Yes, now come on, get up. If she see's you and me like this…" she was cut of by a shout coming from the hallway.
"Tina!?"
Tina looked at the door and back at Kath. Kathryn stood and helped Tina up.
"Come on." Tina said and opened the door.
Kath walked out the door, closely followed by Tina. They walked down the hall and into the kitchen. Kath looked behind her; Tina smiled and gently pushed her further into the room.
"Come on Kathy, you have to eat." Tina said.
The other occupant in the room spun around, looking startle. "Oh Christ, Tina. You scared me." She placed her hand over her heart. "And who is this?"
Kathryn stepped forward and offered her hand. "I'm Kathryn, but you can call me Kath, and you are?"
"Ashley, Tina's sister." She brought Kath's hand up to her lips and kissed it lightly. "It's nice to meet you Kath. I hope you don't mind my asking but why are you here?"
Tina glared at her sister as Kathryn spoke. "My parents are out of town and I wasn't feeling to good, so I asked Miss if I could stay with her for the night. She was kind enough to look after me."
Tina placed her hand on Kath's shoulder. "It was my pleasure." She said and walked over to the cupboards. "Now, what would you like for breakfast?"
"I'll have what ever you have, Miss."
Tina looked at her and rolled her eyes. "That's a big help. I have weetbix, cornflakes, coco pops and fruit loops."
Kathryn sniggered at the fact that Tina ate fruit loops. She looked at Ashley and mouthed 'fruit loops?' Ashley shrugged her shoulders.
"Is something the matter?" She asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Fruit loops?" She whispered.
"Is there something wrong with liking fruit loops?"
Kath shook her head. "No ma'am."
Tina looked at her sternly for a minute, but smiled evilly. She spun around and opened the cupboard above her head and reached up to the top shelf. Kath could make out a red box, but she couldn't read what was on it.
Tina stood on the tips of her toes, but she still couldn't reach, she stretched out her right leg behind her and reached into the cupboard again. Kathryn watched as Tina stretched out her leg, and saw how tight the pants she was wearing became. She watched with a slightly hazy gaze, as she reached into the cupboard again, and cried out in triumph as she grasped the box.
Tina placed the box of fruit loops on the bench and closed the cupboard door. She reached down and opened the cupboard in front of her knees. As she slowly bent over at the waist, her shirt to rose up at the back, revealing smooth white skin for Kath to see, while her pants become even tighter. She smiled to herself as she heard a soft moan come from behind her. She stood up straight with a white bowl in her hand, placing it on the bench, she looked behind her to see Kath was flushed.
"Kathy, are you feeling alright, you're flushed?" she walked over to her and placed her hand on her forehead. "You don't have a temperature." She said eyeing her. She smiled softly at her and looked over at Ashley; she was staring at Kathryn. "Ashley, would you finish making the coffee?" Ashley nodded. "Thank you." She looked at Kath. "Come on, you're going to sit down in the lounge room, for a while."
Kath nodded and followed Tina out of the kitchen. When they were in the lounge room, Kath walked in front of Tina and crossed her arms under her chest.
"You did that on purpose."
Tina smiled. "I'm sorry, love. I couldn't help it, after all, you did laugh at me for having fruit loops." She stepped closer and wrapped her arms around Kath and whispered in her ear. "I really am sorry, Kathy. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable."
Kath stood still for a minute, before unfolding her arms and wrapping them around Tina's waist, pulling her closer. Tina held on tight before slowly releasing her grip.
"Come on, you're meant to be sick, remember."
Kath nodded and flopped down on the couch with an exaggerated moan. She dropped her right hand over her eyes and let her left hang over the edge of the couch. Tina shook her head and walked out into the hall.
Ashley looked over her shoulder as Tina walked into the kitchen. "Is she alright?"
Tina nodded. "She's fine, just needs to rest."
Ashley nodded and thought for a second. "Maybe we should stay with her."
"Yes, we should." She looked behind her. "You can go and sit down I'll bring the coffee in."
Ashley nodded and walked out of the kitchen and into the lounge room. Kath was sitting cross legged on the four seater couch with a thick book in her lap and a notebook half covering it. She was writing something down.
"What are you doing, Kath?" Ashley asked as she sat down on one of the two seaters.
"Maths homework." She answered without looking up.
"Uh Huh, and by the look of it, you're having trouble. Am I right?"
Kath chewed on her pen for a while before she realized that Ashley had spoken. "I'm sorry, you were saying."
Ashley laughed. "I asked if you were having trouble."
"Oh, yeah I am. I just don't get it."
"Would you like some help?"
Kath looked at her. "You wouldn't mind?"
"Not at all, come over here."
Kath picked up her Maths books and walked over to the two seater couch. She sat down next to Ashley and crossed her legs.
"Okay, lets have a look at the question."
After a minute or two, Kath got the answer. She looked up at Ashley with a bright smile. "Thank you."
Ashley smiled back at her. "You're welcome, sweetheart." She said and brushed a lock of hair off Kath's face. She leaned in and captured Kath's lips with her own.
Kath returned the kiss and realized straight away that Ashley's lips weren't as soft as Tina's; they were hard and rough. She froze as she remembered that this wasn't Tina, but her sister. She pulled away, gasping for air.
"I can't, I'm in a relationship."
Ashley looked at her with a hungry gaze. "Who ever it is, I'll make you forget about them." She whispered and kissed down her jaw, leaving wet patches of skin in her wake. She came to the corner of her mouth and kissed her forcefully.
Kath put her hands on Ashley's shoulders and pushed her away. she stood up quickly and carried her books back to the four seater couch. She sat down and started working out answers to questions she didn't have to do.
When she finished working out the answer o the first question, Tina walked in, carrying two coffee's. she walked over to Ashley and handed her a cup.
"Thank you."
Tina nodded and sat down about a meter away from Kath. When Kath felt the shift in the couch she jumped a foot closer to the other end of the couch.
"Sorry." She mumbled and went back to doing the Maths work.
Tina looked at her questioningly, but shook it off and put her jumpiness down as concentrating. She looked back at Ashley.
"So, what'd you two talk about while I was in the kitchen?" She asked and took a sip from her cup.
Kath stopped writing and went stiff. Tina felt the change through the couch and looked at Kath. She took note of how Kathryn wouldn't look her in the eye. She looked back at her sister. "Well?"
Ashley took a sip of her coffee before answering. "Nothing special, I helped her with a question, that's all."
Tina looked back at Kathryn. "Is that the question you were having trouble with last night?" Kath nodded and went back to writing. "Wasn't that the last question?"
Again Kath nodded but didn't look up, she just kept on writing.
Tina put her cup on the coffee table and stood up. She stepped in front of Kath and crouched down. "Kathy, what's the matter?" She whispered.
Kath shook her head.
Tina placed her hands on her cheeks and made her look up. She looked into her pale eyes, then over her face. There, just on her jaw, was lipstick. She looked back into Kath's eye's; her own wide. She wiped her hand over the spot with lipstick and wiped it away with a small smile.
"Kathy, I know you're not feeling well, but you can talk to me. Come on, lye down." She said and sat next to her on the couch and pulled her down so her head was resting in her lap.
Kath wrapped her arms around Tina's leg and closed her eyes. Tina smoothed her hair and looked at her sister.
"So, what are you doing for the holidays?" She asked with a pleasant smile on her face.
After half an hour of talking with Ashley, a phone started ringing. Kath moved her left hand into the pocket of her shorts and pulled out her phone. She pressed the green button and lifted it to her ear, not opening her eyes.
"Hello?"
'Hey Kath.'
"Oh hey Monz. What ya want?"
'You'll never guess what Lea did for me. She wrote my English assignment for me.'
Kathryn yawned. "Oh cool." Kathryn's eyes flew open and she sat up straight. "SHE DID WHAT!?'' she yelled into her phone.
'I said, Lea did…'
"I heard what you said, what I want to know is why you got her to do it."
'I did it so I could pass English."
Kath stood up and paced in front of Tina. "Morgan Ellawease Vandenberg! I want you to re-write that assignment and hand it in. If I find out that you handed in the one Lea wrote, I'll tell Mr. George." She said and hung up.
Kath fell on to the couch with a sigh. "That's it. I can't take it. I'm not going to be her friend anymore."
Tina pulled her down so she was laying with her head in her lap again. "What did she do this time?"
Kath sighed and looked up at Tina. "She got Lea to write her English assignment, again."
"You should tell her teacher on Monday. If you want, I can."
Kath shook her head. "No, I'm giving her the chance to fix it. If she doesn't, then I'll go and tell Mr. George." She said and yawned.
Tina smiled down at her. "You should sleep."
She yawned again. "I'm sorry, I'm not the best company."
"Tina's right Kath, you should rest, you don't look so good." Ashley spoke up.
Kath went stiff but nodded. She rolled onto her side so she was looking at the fire place. She closed her eyes and wrapped her arm around Tina's leg like before.
Tina smoothed her hair and picked up her forgotten coffee. After a couple of minutes, Tina felt Kath relax into sleep. She smiled and looked at Ashley; she was off in her own world. She shook her head and took a sip from her cup.
A while went by with neither speaking, but the silence was broken when Ashley stood up.
"I should be going."
Tina nodded and put her cup on the table next to Ashley's. "I'll walk you out." She said.
She untangled herself form Kath and walked behind her sister.
Ashley opened the door and stepped out. She turned around. "It was nice talking to you, and I do hope Kath feels better soon." She turned and stepped towards her car.
"Ashley." Tina shut the door and walked up to her sister.
Ashley turned around. "Yes?"
Tina crossed her arms over her chest. "What really happened when I was in the kitchen?"
"I told you, I helped her with her Maths."
Tina narrowed her eyes. "Then why was there lipstick on her jaw?"
"I kissed her." Came the calm reply.
"You did what!? She's in a relationship. How could you do that to her?"
"She told me that and got up, nothing else happened."
Tina looked at her sister. "I'll see you later." She said and walked back into the house without a backwards glance. She walked into the lounge room. Kath was sitting with her knees pulled up to her chest, her arms wrapped around them and her chin resting between her knees.
Tina sat down net to her and wrapped her arm around her shoulders. "Kathy, it's okay. Ashley told me what happened." Kathryn rolled her face away from her. "Kathy, look at me, please." Kath moved her head slowly to face her. "It's okay, she told me you told her to stop." Tina pulled Kath into her lap and whispered in her ear. "It's okay, love. You did nothing wrong. Please believe me."
Kath slowly nodded her head against Tina's chest. She slid her arms around Tina's waist, laid her head over her heart and started humming to herself.
When she finished she looked up at Tina as she spoke. "What were you humming?"
"Goodnight my angel."
Tina leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. She pulled back and hugged Kath to herself. "What time do you have to be home by?:"
"Twelve at the latest. Mum and Dad said they'll get home between twelve and twelve-thirty."
Tina looked at her watch. "It's quarter to twelve now. We should get moving."
Kath moaned in protest but got anyway. "Pushy science teacher." She grumbled to herself.
Tina grabbed her wrist and pulled her down, so her legs were on either side of her own. "I heard that." She said and kissed her hard.
Kathryn returned the kiss just as hard. She moved her hands to Tina's face while Tina moved her hands to Kathryn's hips to hold her still. Kath moaned and wriggled her hips against her hands.
Kath pulled back and smiled at Tina. Her cheeks were flushed and she was breather heavily. She brushed Tina's fringe out of the way and ran her hand down the side of her face. She smiled again when Tina turned her head into the palm of her hand.
Tina kissed Kath's hand and opened her eyes, she smiled at Kath. "We're going to be late."
"You started it." Kath said.
Tina leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. "And as much as I would love to finish it, I don't want to get you in trouble with your parents."
"I'm sure you wouldn't." Kath replied and kissed her quickly, before getting up. "Come on, the sooner we get to my place, the sooner I can sit in your lap again." She said and walked out of the lounge room, adding an extra swing to her hips.
Tina watched in fascination as Kath walked out into the hall. She stood up, picked up the cups and walked out of the lounge room and into the kitchen. She put the cups in the sink and looked around, the table still had the folders on it and the chairs were all sticking out. She walked over to them and pushed them in.
Kath walked down the hall and into the kitchen. Tina was standing with her back to the doorway. She quietly walked up behind her. She stood there for a while before she spoke.
"What are you thinking about, love?"
Tina turned around and smiled down at her. "You."
"Me? What about me?" Kath asked as she snaked her arms around Tina's waist.
Tina smiled at her. "Just how beautiful you are." She answered and brushed the hair from Kath's eyes.
Kath blushed and looked down. "I'm not beautiful." She said and looked up at Tina. "But, you know who is?" She asked as she kissed up along her jaw line.
Tina rolled her head to the side with a sigh. "Who?" She whispered as her eyes closed.
Kath smiled and leaned in as close as she could. "You." She said and kissed on her neck.
Tina gasped, than moaned. "Kathy."
Kathryn pulled back and smiled. "We should get going. We can make out on my couch if you want." She said.
This time it was Tina who moaned in protest. Kath laughed and walked out of the kitchen.
Tina leaned against the table; her legs had gone weak when Kat kissed her on the neck. She stood up and walked out of the kitchen. She walked down the hall to the front door.
"Kathy! Come on!"
Kath walked out of the bathroom with her bag over her shoulder. "I had to grab my clothes from yesterday." She said and walked up to Tina.
Tina kissed her on the forehead. "Come on, and where are your shoes?"
Kath smiled up at her. "I'm leaving them here so you always have something of me." She leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. "Wear them to school on Monday." She whispered in her ear before walking out the door.
Tina stood still for a second before picking up her car keys and shutting the door behind her. She walked over to her car and unlocked it.
Kath watched as Tina walked towards the car, it looked as if she was floating on air. Her long powerful strides were graceful, her shoulder length blonde hair, blowing behind her even thought there was no breeze.
Suddenly Kath realized something. 'I'm in love.' She thought to herself. A bright smile spread across her face.
Tina opened her door and hopped in Kath slid in, putting her back on the floor.
Tina looked at Kath. "What are you smiling about?"
Kath's smile reached her eyes. "I just realized something."
Tina arched her eyebrow. "Are you going to tell me or am I going to have to guess?"
Kath reached over and slid her hand behind Tina's neck and pulled her into a tender kiss. Tina's heart skipped a beat when Kath kissed her so lovingly; she closed her eyes and returned the kiss.
When they pulled back, they wear breathing harder then before.
"I love you.''
Tina looked Kath in the eye and smiled. "I love you to, Kathy." She said and kissed her again.
This time when they pulled apart, they faced the front and started driving towards Kathryn's home.
